Chantilly, VA

OT: I am hoping to get a new job with a company in Chantilly, VA and will need a 2 bedroom, pet friendly apartment with a short commute to Washington Technology Park. Can anyone give me some ideas as to where I should look?

I'd also call the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce. If they don't have a relocation package, I'm sure they can tell you who can send you one.

http://www.loudounchamber.org/ Let them know you're looking for an apartment. There are little free books published that list all the available apartments in the various locations in northern Virginia and they can send you some.

Be prepared for some serious sticker shock on housing prices in northern Virginia vs where you are. Serious sticker shock. It's in Westfields too, which is going to be very pricy I think. You could also look in Centreville, which is close by. Western Prince William County, west of Manassas out by 66, would be doable too and would be a bit cheaper. You'd be about 8-10 miles from Chantilly.

Thanks Hart! I am prepared for the cost but it's not commutable from here so I'll do what I have to do. And of course I might not get the job but I like to go to a job interview with a plan to show that I am serious. So when they ask me what I'm going to do I can say, renting with a plan to buy later on.

There are NO jobs down here, except in fast food and I just can't stand on my feet that long anymore.
