doesn't look like either one of them to me. but I don't know what it is...
Kay ? your good at this.

Lee's Summit, MO(Zone 6a)

I don't immediately recognize it, but would suggest a Lonicera of some type - do you have any honeysuckle plants in your area? Perhaps the seed was planted by a bird. I would suggest posting it on the ID forum - those folks are very good at ID'ing plants.

(Phyllis) Osceola, PA(Zone 5b)

Yes I have honeysuckle but I don't think the leaves look like that...
Thanks i'll try over there...

Houston, PA(Zone 6a)

Passiflora Incarnata maybe? You can kinda see the leaves here.

(Phyllis) Osceola, PA(Zone 5b)

Well I guess that is a BIG possibility...oooops..
I reuse potting soil...if something doesn't sprout in a
decent time frame...so some seeds could have ended up in that pot..
Thanks alot Roxxanne..I'll keep an eye on them...

Johannesburg, South Africa

The leaves at the back of the picture look as if they could be Cobea - I think you call it cup and saucer. The bigger leaves in the front right I can not place. I have never grown Dutchman's pipe so I can not tell. Do you mean by Cork Screw to be Vigna caracalla (Snail Vine) which is a relative to beans and so you can look at the leaves to see if there is a similarity.

Houston, PA(Zone 6a)

I do the same thing lilsista. I'm getting a little better at the waiting game though. Last year I dumped a whole bunch of smaller pots that didn't seem to be sprouting into a bigger pot and got a whole mish mash of stuff growing after awile. Live 'n learn!
Roxxanne

(Phyllis) Osceola, PA(Zone 5b)

Yeah the vines in the back are Cups and Saucers....
I always end up having luck with growing some things by accident...LOL

I was sent seeds of Corkscrew Vine that's all the info I know on them..
And the leaves don't look like either one of them...
Guess I'll find out when they grow....LOL

Thanks...

DeLand/Deleon Spring, FL(Zone 8b)

I think roxxanne's right....Passion flower...

DeLand/Deleon Spring, FL(Zone 8b)

how's this looking? has it grown enough for you to get an idea of what it is?

(Phyllis) Osceola, PA(Zone 5b)

It's looking about the same.... maybe one more leaf...

Nassau County, NY(Zone 7a)

Phyllis, it does not look like a corckscrew one! I will take a pic of mine later of my baby corckscrew ones and post it. I do think it is a passi of some sort ^_^.

(Phyllis) Osceola, PA(Zone 5b)

Clem It looks alot different then all the passi seeds/seedlings when they sprouted I bought..
So that only leaves your home country one....
Any pictures of it...??
Yeah I know I need to get better organized...LOL

Nassau County, NY(Zone 7a)

OK here is the link to the Giant Granadilla Passion Vine...Uhmmmmmmmmm, could it be??

http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/631/

(Phyllis) Osceola, PA(Zone 5b)

Everyone of my passi's look so much different then each other...
the first one I sent you has 2 different kind of leaves on it..
looks almost like these but their more pointed...
guess if I can keep them alive long enough..maybe i'll find out...lol

Nassau County, NY(Zone 7a)

I thought they looked similar, who knows...

You are right I have a few that have two different kinds of leaves, that even includes the passi edulis purple.

Well this is the baby corckscrew I have, it is raining out so it is wet, lol!

Nassau County, NY(Zone 7a)

Uhmmmmmmmmmmmm no I do not think so, lol....Ok time will tell....I do not see the similarity!

OMG this is a mystery, wish it was the passi from my country...grrrrrrr..then I could go to your house at night and steal the baby, lol!

(Phyllis) Osceola, PA(Zone 5b)

Babies 3 of them..found another one today while I was cleaning out the seed tray...
It's teeny tiny with teeny tiny leaves that look just like the bigger ones..LOL

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

it looks like an aristolochia to me

(Phyllis) Osceola, PA(Zone 5b)

Maybe this one??

http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/63469/

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

exactly....I have that vine, and that's what they reminded me of

(Phyllis) Osceola, PA(Zone 5b)

Clem sent me some Dutchman's Pipe seeds but I don't know what kind
and I know I planted those...in peat pots but they never came up...
And I recycle lots of things :- )

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

LOL...oh a true gardener! I do the same thing. it pays off too!
I planted some Clerodendrum Nutan seeds this spring, and they just came up a couple weeks ago.
And would I mark the little containers...naaa because I'm a super remember (NOT!!)gardener ..they were in the smaller of the small square pots....Ironically I think I have some of those aristolochias coming up, but not sure ...I stuff seeds and forget...lol

(Phyllis) Osceola, PA(Zone 5b)

Oh it sounds oh so familiar...CRS..but at the time I forget I have it..LOL

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

well it makes for lots of plant surprises!

(Phyllis) Osceola, PA(Zone 5b)

Just went through the jar I put the seed tags in...
and I also planted these which never came up...
Of course in the peat pots that I reused..LOL

New picture the leaves are taking new shape...

Thumbnail by lilsista59
DeLand/Deleon Spring, FL(Zone 8b)

That to me really looks like a passi...

(Phyllis) Osceola, PA(Zone 5b)

Yeah i'm thinking so too...
Hoping it's the Banana one...LOL
The leaves are similar to some of my Yellow Passion Fruit leaves..but that one has many different kinds of leaves and didn't start out like these ones...and the Purple Passiflora Incarnata one has pointed leaves. And Clem's baby one has single leaves with no lobes...
All I have left is the Fla Native one....Clems Home Country one and the Banana One...I Think that's all...LOL
Clem you didn't send me any other seeds did you..??

Nassau County, NY(Zone 7a)

He he, the mystery continues...Time will tell Phyllis! I do think is a passi too! The baby passi I sent you has changed shape on mine now....

(Phyllis) Osceola, PA(Zone 5b)

Well the Mystery should be solved soon...
It hasn't gotten much bigger but the leaves changed
and look....BUDS....The other one looks like it's getting buds too...
So Soon I hope to find out what it is...

Thumbnail by lilsista59
DeLand/Deleon Spring, FL(Zone 8b)

lilsista59,
Hopefully your unsolved vine will be "solved" soon. I wish mine would send out some buds to get it solved. Now have 3 pots of it and no farther along than when I first posted it.
errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ......
mj

(Phyllis) Osceola, PA(Zone 5b)

Found this bud tonight in the same pot right in front of the other NOID vine..
Can't see how I missed it..a bud from my Cup and Saucer vine..
Can't wait for it to open either...
I have 2 other ones in smaller pots twining around each other..
That's what happens when too many seeds germinate...
It's a shame their tropicals here...Not For you though MJS...Are you still looking for one or two as they seem to be
attached to each other?
They don't look like much till they start taking off...

Thumbnail by lilsista59
DeLand/Deleon Spring, FL(Zone 8b)

I'd love to trade if there's something on my list you'd like !

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

LOL..boy that is a mystery...now it's looking more like some type of rose mallow hibiscus

(Phyllis) Osceola, PA(Zone 5b)

RjJ you may have gotten it right....

Well it's not a Passi.,,and not a Vine...I got some seeds that we're suppose to be the lady said Hibiscus sabdariffa Jamaican Cocktail..
But it didn't match the description so she posted them as Hibiscus NOID (yellow)
This has to be them...will ask her
they never germinated so I reused the potting soil...lol

will get a better pic of the bloom when it opens more..
