About a year ago I asked the group about ideas for a vine that didn't go nuts like a honeysuckle. I got sever good choices. The pictures are of the one I chose. Its the Mexican Flame Vine. Its supposed to only get to about 8 foot high and perhaps as wide. I discovered that trimming it back in EARLY spring actually made the top bloom out more and fill in. Next year, I'll cut it down lower to filling the empty spaces and then let it go crazy again. I have one in sort of filtered sun as well as one in full sun. Both are doing well.
