I've never noticed a bright red dot on the inside wing near the body of the various heliconius that come from the passiflora. The little slice of outer wing peeking out is orange with a thin black trim, but from the inside wing pattern it looks like there could be barring or patches on the outer wing. I did some very specific searches on the internet and came up with 4 and 5 hits. good grief, i usually get at least ten thousand hits even when i make a mistake in the search criteria. Any ideas?
