Mrs_Ed, That is too bad about the Starlings and House Sparrows, but what a joy to see the Flicker. We've been thrilled to have a female come every day for a month now. She enjoys all the peanuts and homemade "suet" we provide. A little too much, I'd say. :)
Here is her royal fatness, Peanut. Haha. Ok... it was a really cold day, too.
