Love hydrangeas and was excited to see a nice mature bush on the east side of the house. Fertilized it once in the spring. Big clusters of buds showed up a few weeks ago, a little late compared to most in our neighborhood. A few buds opened on each cluster but the rest died still closed. I know it's to late fot this year, but any help to prevent this from happening next year would be greatly appreciated.
