these hot days have brought a few snakes out and some days have been busy. This morning I was called out to a rubber snake. The poor fellow was so embarrassed but someone had placed it very carefully under a bush to look real. it was a nasty prank. he was terrified of snakes and it cost him money.
When not dealing with the snakes I am experimenting with growing adeniums by seed, and growing hoyas from single leaves atm. I'm so happy to see other hoya lovers here in Brisbane!! How exciting to have Big Macs ready to flower!
heres two that I've had for yrs, one was inherited and the other a cutting from an unknown hoya. After looking at hoyas online I think one is royal hawaiian(it has different colours on the same umbel) and the other maybe pink silver or fresno beauty?
