On the saem tree, at the bottom,are a couple of Vriesea seedlings. I can't remeber what colour the flower spike was though, and it was bought as an unnamed variety. Anyway, this photo shows them (a little blurry) and the grey bits are threads of Spanish moss (tillandsia usenoides) so if you are familiar with Spanish Moss, that gives you an indication of how small they are! Don't ask me why they are pointing down? they are much bigger than any I've been growing in chinese food containers.
