LadyG, I was just looking my my Clematis yesterday and thinking how great to see them coming back. My old one has been there so long, and the new ones only a year or two. Just get a thrill seeing them come up. I'll have to go and check the ones on the split rail fence and see if there is anything out there yet. They were pretty small and struggling last year.
