The first year it didn't do anything. Then I read somewhere that increased sunlight in the spring and summer produced more buds. So I put it at the back of the yard which gets most all day sun and have had lots of new growth and buds. I water it on a regular basis but not as much as my flower beds (maybe a couple of times a week). I wish these had the fragrance of the NBC.
