A few early autumn bloomers.
My variegated caryopteris Snow Fairy has started blooming.
The blooms are beautiful, but so small and at the ends of the branches.
So I can\'t say anyone would call the blooms showy.
Since you have to get so close to see the flowers.
My white callicarpa is doing it\'s thing.
And I have this strange aristolochia, A. fimbriata.
It\'s marginally hardy here - so some years, I don\'t see it at all.
I planted it about 5-6 yrs ago.
This year, it\'s spreading nicely with a beautifully variegated leaf.
The flowers are a little aggravating, as they are typically hidden by foliage.
But the flowers are very cute up close.
Pipe-shaped flowers typical of aristolochia.
