The year before last I planted a small Rose start from a friends garden and didn't even know what it was. This year it has small red blooms and is about 3-4' tall. I was so impressed with myself, I bought another miniature Rose from the grocery store and brought the beautiful specimen home, visualizing it in my garden. As soon as I got the back door shut, the stupid little thing started dying limb by limb.

Not giving up quite yet, I recently planted my only remaining cane but don't expect to feast my eyes on it's amazing blooms again.
