I guess I am just lucky, don't know if mine are LAs or what I call them just bog iris, this pic taken yesterday..... my soil is alkaline sands with no additives in this area.....no fertilizer, just 10 years of growth. Hubby is digging out this stand this summer, he likes some of this area clear...so I am finding a no-mow zone to move them into...I have about 8 stands such as this...many for trades if one is intrested...
