I think liatris are great for the mixed border and easy to grow companion plants for daylilies, for instance, but I think I must be in the minority, since I rarely see them growing in gardens, at least around here. I am looking for the 'Violette' to add to my little collection next spring. And I think the hybridizers are working on liatris, and before too long there should be some other great hybrids available, too. |
