Here the Ant Lion has all sorts of small carcasses stuck to its back. Trophys I presume.

After scraping the bits off, it groped around to reattach them with great skill, using the pinchers in front. In spring I caught one draining a small (3 day old) Tiger Swallowtail Caterpillar.
