Thanks Glen.
Also thanks to Sconnie, Rocky, Lieber and Julian. Sorry I haven't answered every one of these great ratings quicker...this has been a slamming busy seed season. And with the addition of the Carolina Reaper to our Seed line up, it's been a real hustle to keep up with it all. But I'm thrilled that my team is continuing to get orders shipped out in 3 to 4 business days. Also, the germination reports flowing in are the best we've ever had.
A big part of the fun with running a seed business is gardeners like you all. So supportive... and we've formed such a strong bond with so many customers through email, our Newsletters and at the top of the list is our Facebook page. Our intention is not to take your money and run...but rather to try to stay with you every step of the growing process. THANKS a million to all of you.

Pepper Joe's is THE only pepper website you need to order from.... REALLY! I have been so disappointed by other seed sources such as Burpee and Park. Pepper Joe's (and Penny's Tomatoes) have always shipped quickly, given free seeds with every order and offered great advice and information.

They offer seeds that you won't readily find with other sources. And, every year, the seeds have almost 100% germination. That is great considering some pepper varieties are picky and "high maintenance". Yet the seeds from Pepper Joe's do so much better than any others that I have purchased. I have gotten tons of compliments from friends and coworkers about my plants (always have too many and gift them to others) and the fruit produced (which I also have too much of each year.... more gifting).

Check out the Pepper Joe's website (and Penny's Tomatoes too). They back up their product and offer great follow-up advice. Sign up for their emails and get cool deals year round.

I ordered their signature collection of pepper seeds, "Volcano-in-a-box". It contains over 100 seeds of the hottest peppers on the planet. My order was processed, shipped, and delivered within 3 business days! Very easy ordering process and super-speedy delivery...

Also, I ordered a week before an Easter special where they were offering 4 free packs of seeds. My order only included 2 free packs of seeds. I emailed Pepper Joe's letting them know that if I had known about the special coming up, I would have waited a week. I received a response later that day that they would be happy to mail out two additional packs of seeds for me.

How's that for awesome customer service? They've earned a customer for life, that's for sure. I'm telling all my friends and family about Pepper Joe's and I cannot wait to get my hands on some of the tasty, fiery peppers!

I started all of my pepper seeds early and inside this year. Very excited to be growing Carolina Reaper, Ghost Pepper, Moruga Scorpion, and Pasilla Bajio Pepper's!

They also have some solid advice for starting and planting pepper seeds included with every order. Oh and the best part?!?! They included FREE seeds with every order!!! That just rocks my socks! If you are not buying from Pepper Joe's then you are not buying from the BEST! Period.

After reading the negative reviews - I must say I'm shocked. I have ordered seeds from PepperJoe's for 3 years now and after my explosion of a garden last year (187 pepper plants - almost all of which grew from PepperJoe seeds!) I won't be changing where I get my seeds!!! I would say I had a 95% germination rate - which is way above what I expected. After getting over 8100 peppers (no, that isn't a typo!) I have expanded again and have already ordered 26 different varieties to grow next year (am going to get more as will have more room :)). Last year the several types of Habanero, Jalapeno, Peter, Italian Long Hots, Italian Pepperoncini, Thai Hot/Sun, PepperJoe Cayenne, Kung Pao and Anaheim were huge success!

Staff has always been quick to reply to questions and orders have arrived very quickly. I would highly recommend PepperJoe's for seeds and for any questions. Have turned on several friends (and family) to site that will be ordering there as well.

Keep up the great work PepperJoe!
Love the heat!

Update from me! I ordered 26 different varieties of seeds from Pepper Joe and must say once again have been amazed at seed germination. For instance, I have had 100% success from the Butch "T" and Ghost peppers so far (that being 10 plants from 10 seeds). Only 10 of the 13 Carolina Reapers have come up though :) YES, ONLY!!! 10 of 13? that's insanely good... Super Hots are doing awesome. (If had more time and wanted to bore you with more - all the others have very similar success so far!)

Keep up the Great work Pepper Joe (and Penny too! - those tomato's are doing very well too!)

I make an order for a few seeds from Pepper Joe this year. I ordered the Carolina Reaper and Moruga TS from Pepper Joe. So far, the Carolina Reaper seeds are 6 for 6 and they all came up in 10 days which beat the heck out of a lot of my other super hot seeds. The Moruga seeds are 4 for 6 so far and they have been coming up a little slower, but that makes it 10 out of 12 seeds so far. I did hold a few seeds back to hedge my bets, but I can say I have been very pleased. The surprise packages of other peppers seeds the Joe sends his customers have just been planted so I am expecting them to have just as good of a germination rate. I would and will purchase from Pepper Joe in the future.

I decided to get into pepper gardening this past season and had no idea where to start outside of the Home Depot jalapenos. I found Joe's website and discovered a ton of varieties and even a bunch of great tips on how to grow chili peppers. I ordered several varieties and recieved them within a week along with two FREE packs of seeds. Being a newbie, I did not expect much in my first year, however, I had a germ rate of 85% with some of my super hots popping in only FOUR days!!! I give all the credit to excellent seed quality, something I can trust I will get with Pepper Joe. Joe offered wonderful customer service and I will soon place another order for next season with the anticipation of a much larger grow!!!

I've tried 17 different varieties of Pepper Joe's seeds and, with two exceptions, I was getting pretty close to 100% germination rates. The problem with one of them, the Chilie Tepin, was due to planter error. I learned that when I planted seeds from the same packet using a bio dome and heat mat this year and all the seeds germinated. The other one, Chocolate Habs, didn't grow either year. I posted my comments on another forum and Joe tracked me down in less than a day via email, sent me replacement Habs and included a freebie pack of seeds within a week. The replacement Habs are growing with the help of the bio dome and heat mat as are the freebie White 7 Pot seeds.

Additionally, everything I put in the ground or pot last summer gave me the pepper I was expected. I'll definitely order from Pepper Joe again.

After purchasing seeds last season from Pepper Joe's I was impressed with the speed of delivery, the germination rate of the seeds and the growth and production of the plants. Because of these traits I again ordered seeds for this years crop. 2 of the 3 packets I ordered were as expected. The giant jalapeno's however were quite disappointing. Only 2 seeds out of 20 germinated. I wrote the company, not expecting much, and was suprised at how quickly they responded. Not only were they genuinely concerned and apologetic, they are sending me replacement seeds at no cost! How, or why, would anyone buy elsewhere when product satisfaction is 100%? First and foremost, Pepper Joe's has been my go to seed spot for hots and super hots. The quality, and variety of seeds is far superior to other companies out there, and their customer service is top notch. For example: I bought their jalapeno 3 pack which came with 3 varieties of jalapenos, not to mention 2 free 10 packs of seeds with my order. The order came super fast with directions on how to germinate for the best results. I followed the directions and 2 out of the three jalapeno's germinated within a week, the giant jalapeno, unfortunately was a dud and nothing grew after about 3 weeks. I contacted Pepper Joe to inform him, and NO QUESTIONS ASKED replaced my pack of seeds, apologized and offered me more advice on things that may help.

Pepper Joe is about as knowledgeable as they come with regards to peppers, every concern that I may have, I contact him and within a day or two I have an answer that diagnoses the problem and sets my mind at ease.

Now Pepper Joe has more than just peppers and tomatoes on his website for sale, he also has MycoBlast and Soil Blast which I personally have just bought to give my soil a quick shot in the arm.

Shopping with Pepper Joe is a pleasure, and is made SUPER easy. He will be, without question the only person/website I go to for seeds and advice on growing peppers.

Thanks Pepper Joe!!

They are quick to send my items to me, offer great shipping deals, include more seeds than promised per pack, and free packs of seeds with my orders. I was lucky enough to be gifted Serrano seeds in early September with my Carolina Reaper order. They are a vivacious and hardy plant. What a nice and unexpected bonus for my garden. At one point, I was confused as to the best care for some of my plants. I e-mailed the companies and received fast replies with expert advice on how to best maintain my plants. I am proud to be a loyal customer of PJ and PT and will continue to purchase seeds for myself and my friends through their site. I am the envy of my neighbors, even in the middle of winter, because I have tomato plants taller than myself growing in my indoor garden. Fresh tomatoes and peppers at Christmas will make any summer gardeners jealous. And if these plants can do this well inside, I can't wait to get my outdoor garden started in the Spring!!! Thanks PJ and PT for your abundance of seeds and advice! Loyally Yours, Amber

That Chocolate Hab can be a finicky germinator. Keep the temps ideally at 80 or 85 degrees for optimimum germination. Also, when watering give them a throuough soaking, but don't water again until the soil gets almost completely dry for a day so as to not over waater them.

Service / Shipping:
First I want to address a small issue I had with shipping. After I placed my order on his website, I was given my own page with which I could check the status of my order. After two days, the status had not changed from "New" and I was starting to get worried. Fortunately, he e-mailed me right away and sorted the problem, and I ended up getting my seeds in 4 business days.

Besides that one hiccup, I have nothing but good things to say about pepper Joe and his team. Even before I ordered anything, he was answering my e-mails (with general pepper questions) in the same day, and answered all my e-mails same day every time. He even sent me additional e-mails to update me on my order as he worked out the status issue.

His site is also loaded with useful information, pictures, recipes, and growing tips. The seed packs were filled with many more seeds than what were promised on his website, and even my Ghost peppers which were 7.99 for a 10 pack came with 4 extra seeds for a total of 14. He remained true to his word and sent me two free packs of seeds which have germinated nicely. He strives to grow all organic, rare, untreated seeds and keep his business family owned and operated. And he even has a secure ordering page, despite what the last comment said (you can tell if the web address starts with "https://"). If the plants and fruit turn out as well as I hope, I will definitely be ordering from pepper Joe again next year.

Germination:
I got a note with my seeds that said "some finicky varieties can take 5 weeks to germinate". Despite that, every single variety has at least a handfull of sprouts already, and some varieties have already germinated at 100%, and its only been around 3 weeks. The decorative peppers and the poblanos were the slowest germinaters, but the Jolokias were surprisingly fast, being one of the first varieties with a sprout. (I got the seeds he offers from UNM) I still see new sprouts daily, so this section is still in progress, but so far I'm very satisfied with the germination rate.

Plant Quality:
No comments yet, too early to tell... will update at the appropriate time in the growing season.

I emailed Pepper Joes who promptly sent me advice on what I was doing wrong and assurance that the company would send more seeds if the seeds didn't sprout. New seeds are on their way. Even though the germination rate has been an issue, the speedy package mailing and prompt answers via email regarding my concerns made this a pleasant experience. I'll chalk the low germination rate up to my inexperience with seed starting (in this case over watering), and will order from this company next year as well. Also of note, Pepper Joe's offers free seeds and surprise seeds with every order. I received Straight Eight Cucumbers (which are doing well under the grow lights) and a variety of surprise peppers which had a very high germination rate and are also doing well.

Pepper Joe has a good selection of varieties, excellent service, and a cool website that conveys a true sense of enjoyment in providing that service. His seeds germinate extremely well, are true to variety as advertised, and he provides some free seed as a bonus. I mostly ordered hot varieties, but I must comment on the one variety of sweet pepper that I tried. His Sweet Crimson is far and away the best tasting and best performing sweet pepper I have ever grown. It provided peppers all summer until frost in my central Texas garden, totally ignoring the heat. Thumbs up to Pepper Joe!

I ordered 6 different types of pepper seeds. All arrived in a very timely manner. Within a week or so. All types sprouted and are currently in the garden. Althought you don't get an abundance of seeds, they all germinated. Pepper Joe's also carries seeds that are hard to find elsewhere, such as the new Charleston Cayenne. I plan to order again next year. Thumbs up!

Excellent source of all kinds of unique peppers. Try the Peter Pepper (great conversation piece). Seeds were top quality and I experienced a 100% germination rate. I also like doing business with a small outfit that still cares about quality.
