Let me just start off by saying Roses are my all time favorite flowering plants and I know how to grow and take care of them. I first bought some roses from this company back in 2012 a 3 Bush roses a Valencia, Liv Tyler a Rouge Royale and a 24" Patio Scentimetal. I've been growing roses for years and have never had any roses die on me until I bought roses from here. I had called ahead to have them held for me which they did but when I got there from a two hour trip I was very disappointed with the quality of the roses they had just ripped out of the ground and set aside for me, they had other better ones rite there in-front of me but refused to let me exchange the puny ones they had chosen. I was so upset that they were not willing to accommodate me and didn't like how I was being treated as the people were quite rude about it. I felt like just leaving those roses there and I wish I had but after thinking about it at the time I decided to take them becuase I had made the trip there and didn't want to leave empty handed I decided to give the plants a chance. I bought them and planted them rite away and with-in just a few weeks half of them had died. Since they're customer service was so bad and I had lost my recite I didn't even bother to let them know what happened. Finally just 2 days ago I was shopping for some new varieties of roses online and saw them available on their website, I thought the prices were decent and was almost done with the process of ordering them, however when I was proceeding with entering shipping information It said the soonest they could deliver was mid to late February. That was not what I wanted to do at all and thought that must have been some kind of mistake so I called up the nursery to find out if I could get them sooner, the lady who answered the phone was exceedingly rude and made me feel like an idiot for even asking if I could get them sooner. She clearly must have had a bad day or from the looks of some other people's reviews she's just not someone who should be working in customer service, even just talking to her over the phone I could tell she was a very vexing and negative person. Needless to say I am forever done with this nursery. I canceled my order and ordered the roses from Edmunds Roses online instead. I have visited their nursery only a couple times in person since 2012 just to look around and must say they have a large nursery but there's not much in it, lots of dead space over priced roses and much less inventory than before, maybe it's a sign that they are going under which is no surprise. Will not deal with this place even if they are the last people with roses on earth.

To make you privy to what exactly happened, it's the end of June... about two weeks ago, I purchased AND received a bare root hybrid tea rose (Pink Promise) from a S. California grower. It is doing quite well I might add.

Looked high and low for a Electron Hybrid tea because mine is dying from an infestation of spider mites. Well, I called to see if there was any way I could order from them and they would ship now... OR if I would have to wait until next January. I asked if there were “any exceptions” to this rule and I was propmtly told "no". Stupid me asked "why" and I was told quite shortly "because they didn’t have any... THAT’S why!!” Real nice.

Not sure what I did to tick the person off I spoke to... maybe it was asking a stupid question but, it does not give anybody the the right to be excruciatingly rude. ESPECIALLY someone in Customer service.... all I asked was a simple question.

Rest assured, no matter HOW bad I want a rose… if they are the last place on the planet that has it, I would rather pass. There are plenty of other resources out there that appreciate my business and are never rude or curt to me when I call and ask questions... no matter HOW stupid they may be.

My Regan rose order was placed on January 24,2008 with an "early February delivery". I live in Florida and was charged $22.00 for shipping UPS 3 Air. The order was shipped February 5,2008. Great! I have a 3 day weekend to plant. I received my order last night - February 12,2008. On the package was FEDX Ground Home Delivery which after on-line investigating is delivery "at the end of the 5th day", the price should have been $9.87. I spoke with Victoria at Regan's Nursery and she rudely stated that I contact FEDX not them, it wasn't their responsiblity. Very disappointed at the quality of employee- customer relations!
