I'm a very patient person for the most part, and I often plan well in advance. However, I ordered seeds from these folks what's now approaching two months ago. I haven't heard/seen a thing. I'll probably give it another week or so before I start making calls, but I kind of think the wait time is somewhat ridiculous considering my order was solely seeds. Anyway, good luck getting your order!

I have tried and tried to log into the site, clicked on "send password" but never recieved any e-mail to help me get in. They will not answer any of my e-mails at all. From what I read here, it almost sounds like they pick and choose who they want to do business with and who not to. I still want to take a chance...I know better but want to try but now will have to have a friend sign up and go through it all. We will see.

I ordered seeds nearly a month ago and they still haven't shipped them. Some of these seeds need to be started two weeks ago because of long germination times, not next summer!

I've emailed and emailed and never an answer.

Their seeds might be good, but how would you know if they never complete the order. AVOID THIS PLACE if you want your seeds.

Sent this company my $1.00 for a catalog some 3-4 months ago. Never heard anything. Hate to get ripped-off, even if it's only a dollar.

I ordered from a catalog, sending my order and a check on April 1. On April 27, I had not received my order, so I called the company. The person answering my call seemed very nonchalant about it and didn't seem to think the time lag was out of line. It is really too late to plant now.

I ordered catalogues and/or seeds from 7 companies 2 weeks ago. I have received every item except for a catalog from this company. I ordered the catalog twice thinking that their website was malfunctioning. I finally sent an email about this. No answer. I love their mini seed packets because the concept fits right in with square foot gardening, biointensive and other sustainable practices. However, I had the same lengthy wait for a catalog last year. Even so, I ordered lots of seeds plus shallots last year. Why am I not on your mailing list? I want to support and do business with this firm. What does it take?

It is now one week later. No email, no catalog, no response of any kind. If any of you gardeners out there have managed to get a catalogue from Le Jardin du Gourmet in 2005, please let the rest of us know your secret! Thanks!

I attempted to order seeds from this company 6 days ago. I live in San Diego and I have made 4 long distance calls to Vermont and still have received only 1 answer to my 3 questions. Despite giving them my phone number and email address, I still had to call back before I even received the one answer. I have 2 very simple questions left unanswered: did I order Lovage seeds and would they please email me a copy of the herb seed order I placed as I neglected to print a copy of it. Surely to give me the answer, which could be accomplished by simply sending me back a copy of my herb seed order as I was promied, could only be the work of five minutes?

It is of course my own fault that I went ahead an ordered seeds from them. It took me months and months to get a catalog from them. But I was so excited by the number of heirloom varities that I could get for 35 cents a piece, that I went ahead and ordered them anyway.

In addition to waiting months for a catalog, numerous emails were ignored as I attempted to find out details about their seeds. Evidently they don't know anything.

In my opinion these people are unprofessional. I now have serious doubts that I will even receive my seeds. I will have learned an expensive lesson and will not be ordering from them ever again and would recommend that no one else does either.

It is now day 8 and I still do not have the answers to my remaining 2 questions nor have I received my seeds.

I ordered seeds from other companies on the same day and I have received all of them except Le Jardin du Gourmet.
