Then I discovered that it is the same as Baker Seeds. I have always found Baker Creek as being a reputable source, according to other sites. |

I had emailed at the beginning of March asking when I would be receiving my seeds. I got a prompt response about the entire family working 7 days/15hrs a day. I also wondered why, if they had so much business, they didn't hire outside help. I was a little put off by their insistence that it was not even time to plant in my zone. Not that it's any of their business but I like to start things early in my portable greenhouses. I ordered my seeds because I wanted them when I ordered them (or in this case the website said 30-35 days from when I ordered), not when they decide I should plant them. |

O ordered two kinds of peas and and two of beets. They were all planted out at the correct time in well prepared soil. They received adequate moisture also. One variety of pea finally made a weak stand after three weeks, the other variety only put up about 1% of what was planted. What did sprout only grew about two inches and just sat there for weeks on end, not growing. |
