Comments regarding Heirloom Seeds

Placed order on Jan 13, 2004, complete order arrived at my residence on Jan 15, 2004. Great service!!

I ordered seed from them last year (2003) and was very pleased. Shipment was prompt and the quality of seed was excellent. I will be sending out my 2004 order shortly.

This is one of the four companies I order from. Since I only plant heirloom veggies, I look for the companies that supply variety in old favorites. If I can't get what I want from here, I go to one of the other three companies. Always prompt service and never had a problem with germination. Their website is up dated and easy to navigate.

Great seed company, I order most all of my seeds here. You can find varieties at Heirloom that not available elsewhere, and just about every seed planted becomes a little seedling....no duds!!

This company was the most Johnny on the spot in informing me when my order would be shipped. I have only ordered twice but both times I received my order withen 5 days. O yes the seeds, I have no problem with them coming up.

I love this company. Have used them for 3 years and have had great experience every time. Great germination rates and I have always gotten exactly what I ordered. I would rate this company over any others mentioned here.

I ordered from them a number of times this season, and seeds were shipped promptly each time. They have a good selection of hard to find seeds as well.

I just received my order from Heirloom Seeds, within 7 days of mailing them my $20.00 order with a personal check. I found them on the web searching for a source for 'Purple Cherokee' tomatoes. In addition to having my order filled promptly and correctly, I thought their prices were really good--most flowers and herbs were $1.25 per pack. The tomato seeds were only $1.50 per pack--typically for a smaller quantity of seeds than you'd typically get, 20 per pack I think. I actually find this to be to my benefit, after having to find homes for over 150 excess tomato seedlings last year. I also liked the variety--I found almost all of my 'cottage garden' must-haves here. Plus some I didn't expect, and a free gift of seeds. Hopefully the germination rate will be as high quality as their service.
