Comments regarding Secret Seed Cartel

Do not waste your time or money with this company.

I placed an order on February 9, 2024, for some tomato seeds and I finally received the package today, March 26, 2024, and my package was empty. There was a note stating that my seeds had been confiscated and destroyed for lack of a phytosanitary certificate.

I would have gladly paid a little extra for a phytosanitary certificate. But the company specifically says on their website that they do not offer phytosanitary certificates. I believe the company shipped these seeds to me knowing they would likely be confiscated, but I was not informed at the time of purchase that that was a likely outcome.

I will not do business with them again!

They seemed to have an interesting selection of seeds. Before ordering from them I checked them out on Dave’s Garden and saw there were no negative reviews—only 2 positives. So I put in a rather large order. Then waited. After a week, I still hadn’t received any confirmation. In my experience as a farmer who orders from several suppliers, this is usually a bad sign. I wrote to the company. Now 3 weeks later I still have received no response. I went to their website today and it looks like it is not working. Ugh! Does anyone have any current information about this company???
