I purchased an expensive hydrangea that was unavailable in local nurseries. After weeks of waiting, I learned the plant must have been lost in shipment and contacted PlantingTree, who replied it would show up eventually. They were right, it eventually did, but half dead from the Texas heat. Following PlantingTree's instructions, I sent photos of what the plant looked like upon arrival and follow-up photos for three days afterwards as the plant continued to decline. PlantingTree sent me a new case number rather than a replacement plant. Other than that, I have not heard from them. This was not my first purchase from PlantingTree but it will be my last.


On May 29th, 2020, LadyTXGardener changed the rating from negative to neutral and added the following:

Finally heard back that they have had a dramatic increase in business so it's taking longer to respond to customer cases. Anyway, they suggested I plant the hydrangea and offered me a six-month warranty, which I appreciate. We'll see if it lives.
