Comments regarding Damon Gardens

I ordered three orders of irises from Damon Farms last spring (I may have gone overboard!). They arrived very well-packed, and clearly tagged. The rhizomes were nice and fat and healthy looking, with lots of strong roots attached. Every rhizome had at least one set of leaves (trimmed) and a couple of sprouts in addition. I’ve divided and planted irises many times in the past, and from the looks of these roots, they’re going to settle in nicely. I’m looking forward to my blooms next spring!
