I could not be happier with my order... plants were wrapped in either cloth sleeves or paper bags and hot glued to the box and other containers .. those plants were not going anywhere!!!... looking forward to future orders!!!... I also put photos of the shipping (after I unpacked 1/2 the box).. and the plant sizes in my diary

I received my first order today (hanging basket combos) and have nothing but high praise for this company. Variety of available plants is huge; every time I check their website, there is something else I want. In fact, I am expecting my 2nd order next week!

I took a chance and ordered from this company in late July. It was a small order, but I'll without a doubt be purchasing from them again this spring! My Agastache "Summer Love" arrived small but healthy and well-packaged. I confess to having given it pathetic care on planting, especially given a brutally hot and dry summer... and for a couple of weeks the plants didn't seem to do much of anything. But I guess they were just working on their roots, because all of a sudden they just took off! Robust, flower-laden, gorgeous plants that put on a stunning show for more than two months! Only now, following a couple of nights in the upper 20's, have they finally faded.

Excellent job from this up and comer!

I was hesitant to order from New Garden Plants, no reviews on Dave's Garden. I am sure glad that I did. Plants are beautiful, healthy, and shipped in 5" pots.

I emailed them asking when plants would be shipped and received an answer by the next day. (Shipping is done on Mondays and Tuesdays). The prices were better than almost every other site that I looked at for a comparably sized plant.

Now here is the best part: shipping. Their shipping charge for any order is $9.95 plus $0.39 per plant. Makes you wonder about the shipping charges from some of the other companies.

I highly recommend New Garden Plants and will be ordering from them in the future.

I am a veteran weekend gardener -- but with a new house, nothing in the yard, a hip replacement and a broken wrist, I have been buying many plants this year online. No one can surpass the excellent quality of the plants I purchased from NewGardenPlants! The plants are bigger by far than any of the other vendors, packed better than any of the others; the company is a GOLDMINE! I have been using the website "Dave's Garden" -- to read vendor reviews and have used only the top vendors-- and I almost didn't order from NewGardenPlants because they are so new...their products are just too wonderful not to brag about!

The website is easy to use -- the pictures and descriptions clear -- and the quality of the plants shipped are better than some I have purchased from my local nursery. I will be a return customer, again and again and again.

I hesitated before placing an order with New Garden Plants because the business had no reviews here at Dave's Garden Watchdog. But, I held my breath and bought ten plants. I can report that the experience was very positive and I recommend you support this new nursery with your orders.

The website is easy to use and features all the tools we've come to expect. The selection of plants is on the standard side, but does features some harder to find specimen like Epimedium. The prices are very competitive, with some plants offered for less than other nurseries and many are currently on sale.

It was the information about the company that led me to place my order. The new venture is the work of a young couple and I wanted to support them in what must be a tough time to start a nursery. An added bonus is the nursery's guarantee, which is as liberal as any you'll find.

I stumbled upon the nursery while searching for Brunnera macrophylla 'Jack Frost,' which is offered currently at the sale price of $11.55. I also ordered Geum chilohense 'Mrs. Bradshaw' ($5.99), Viola cornuta 'Columbine' ($8.67) and Eupatorium dubium 'Little Joe' ($7.49) I also received a free gift of Nepeta faassenii 'Walker's Low.'

After placing my order I received a confirmation email message. I had chosen the upcoming Monday as my ship date and on the Tuesday after that day I received a shipping confirmation with FedEx Ground tracking information. I received the order on Thursday in sturdy, well-packed boxes. The plants were in deep, 4" pots. The soil was moist and the plants showed no sign of damage. Even the free Nepeta was this size. The boxes were packed without use of Styrofoam peanuts!

All of the plants were in excellent condition with active growth. The Brunnera had 12" of growth and was in the final stage of its spring flowering. The Viola were very healthy and also in flower. The Geum and Nepeta were equally healthy and seem likely to bloom when their season arrives. Only the Eupatorium was smaller than expected, but it is a plant that is later to awaken than the others.

Included with the order (besides the free Nepeta) were soft metal plant identification tags and a coupon for a free plant with my next order.
