Comments regarding St. Clare Heirloom Seeds

I ordered several hard to find bean seeds from this company. The prices were every good, and the shipping was the same. My order came very quickly, and even had a free pack of carrot seeds. I would definitely order from St. Clare again.

I think I have found my new favorite seed company. I am very pleased with the fast and friendly service. They took the time time to write a Thank you and signed their names at the bottom of the invoice, both times. ( I had forgotten to order peas the first time around ) Each order came with a free pack of seeds which was great. Thank you !! I will definitely order from here again

I have placed several orders with St. Clare Seeds, and I can honestly say that I will never order my seeds anywhere else! They are my "go to" supplier for all my growing needs! All my produce grown from their seed has been of the very best quality, with very high yields. Every order has been processed quickly, not to mention their beautiful method of packaging, never any damage to product upon receipt. Customer service is second to none, emails are answered efficiently and pleasantly. I feel I am corresponding with friends! I highly recommend St. Clare Seeds for all your planting needs!

(sorry for the duplication) This is the second year I've gotten seeds from St. Clare's. I am really happy with this company. The seeds came prompt and nicely packaged and I had a great yield and wonder fruit and vegetables last year. I am also a new gardener and spoke to them on the phone last year and they couldn't be more helpful, nice, resourceful or knowledgeable. They have also a great variety of heirloom seeds. I would highly recommend this company, both for their wonderful service, and for the quality and selection of their products.

I was hesitant to order from this company as they do not list a phone number and I was not familiar with them. I took a chance and I have been most impressed with them. I Placed an order on Monday and I received exactly what I had ordered today (Wednesday). Emails were replied to promptly.

I truly acquired a positive impression of an honest family-operated business here. If they had to answer the phone all day, they wouldn't get much done. I get that. Green thumbs up from me!

I have just started to order for this season. Ordered twice so far. The package came quickly. Everything was in order. The hand written signature was very personable. The web site is quit impressive. I ordered for the first time from St. Clare Heirloom Seeds on Jan. 28, 2012. The seeds arrived in 4 days. The correspondence with me, regarding seeds that were not available, was friendly and helpful. I wish there was germination information on the herb packets. Hopefully they will include that soon. I really like their website and links.

It was so easy to order from their site and my order was literally on my doorstep within 2 days. Yes they are close in proximity but that means they processed extra fast! It's too early to plant yet so I don't know germination but I am confidant with their excellent service there won't be a problem.

First experience with ST. Claire Seeds and I am very pleased!

Excellent prompt personal service that is missing from so many other businesses. Please do not hesitate to order from John and Sarah (no I'm not getting endorsement favors) and support them in their endeavors, as they are providing a very useful service and doing it well. Great selection of seeds and I am particularly pleased with their Open Pollinating corn selections, and various OP short season melons.

Seeds were purchased for Washougal, WA and Nowy Sacz Poland where growing conditions are sometimes challenging.

I have to join the scores of happy customers here.

Having recently ordered 27 packets of seeds from this company, I can vouch for their outstanding performance. The order process was thorough and simple and I received follow-up email upon shipment WITH delivery tracking. The seeds arrived very quickly. Because it's so late in the year and the ground here is saturated from two months of endless rain, I wasn't able to plant all packets for my planned fall garden. The seeds I opened and planted appeared fresh and plump, and all germinated with outstanding results.

I am extremely pleased with this little company and embrace their growing philosophy and natural heirloom seeds as well. My new first choice for future vegetable seed orders! Very happy.

Ordered seeds twice - for spring and fall plantings. Both times seeds were shipped VERY quickly. Spring seeds grew great. Haven't planted fall ones yet. Will use St. Caire seeds again for all future seed needs. Great prices, good variety and low shipping cost.

The website is very easy to use. I ordered South American Yellow popcorn, which is a mushroom style popcorn. The seeds were inexpensive, and the shipping fee was very reasonable. My order was accurately filled and arrived in two days. The seeds were in excellent condition and had a very high germination rate of 93.75 percent. The plants are growing rapidly and are very healthy. I will definitely order more seeds from this company.

The ordered heirloom popcorn and sweet corn. The web ordering went smoothly (compared to other seed companies), the order was received within a few days, and a bonus pack of seeds was included. I hope the seeds germinate well when they planted in a few weeks.

What a TREAT I have been looking for this Varigated Broom Corn seed for a month and finally found it here! I found it for the first time at F&F and planted it last year and a local florist absolutley loved it, it flew out of his shop in fall arrangements. This year I couldn't find it again until I ran across your site. Woo Hoo!
I ordered it last Thursday and it was here by Monday! Plus, you sent me a free package! I was able to get it in the ground about 3 hours before the rain.
More businesses need to use your customer service mentality and the world would be a good place again!

We just received a very large selection of St. Clare Heirloom Seeds. The shipping was incredibly fast and everything was packed with the utmost care. We really liked that they have a label asking mail carriers to keep the packaging dry...there's nothing worse than having all your precious seeds subjected to moisture in transit! We planted Black Beauty, Early Prolific Straightneck Summer Squash and Spacemaster 80 Bush Cucumbers today....every single seed looked as fresh as if they were just harvested...quite amazing when you condsider how reasonably priced their seeds are! We've had more expensive seeds from other companies arrive all dried and shriveled up to nothing. We highly recommend this young company and hope to have many transactions with them again in the future! Our only regret is that we didn't notice they offer worm castings before we requested our seeds!

I ordered 20 different kinds of seeds, and received them quickly and accurately. I received a free packet of cayenne pepper seeds. All of the seeds I have planted have sprouted on time and are hearty seedlings so far. A very good experience with St. Clare Seeds!

I placed an order for worm castings and a just a couple of types of seeds. Not only did my order come very quickly they included a free pack of seeds.

Great selection. I found several varieties here that were difficult to find elsewhere.
My order came promptly, and I really like the care taken in the packaging.
The best part to me though was the fact that the viability of the seeds far exceeded my expectations.
Overall, I had a great experience with St. Clare Heirloom Seeds and will definitely use them again.

We are very pleased with St. Claire Heirloom Seeds. Their prices and S&H were very reasonable. Their selection was good, and our order was received quickly. Each kind of seed was packaged in a small zipper top bag and put into a paper seed packet. Both were well marked with content labels, planting information and helpful hints. This made handling the seeds easy, plus it will be easier to store the leftover seeds. We will definitely order from this excellent company again.

Great service. I ordered one packet of Roma tomato seeds and received a free packet of tomato seeds! Seeds were packaged very securely. Shipped quickly. No problems. I picked St. Clare because they had just the cultivar I wanted but I'll remember them as an excellent place to buy.

I have been very happy so far with my experience with St Clare seeds. I really enjoyed the website and ordering process although I haven't had online success lately from other sources. I got on a kick last fall to plan an open pollinated non-hybrid garden this year but was slow getting my act together. Once I finally selected and ordered my seeds they arrived in under 3 days. I especially like the packaging...what appears to be quality seeds in a ziplock bag within an informative packet even including the binomial name of the plant and the variety. It is too early on most to tell but I already have 5 varieties growing this early. Thanks

It was a pleasure to order seeds from St. Clare. The seeds came VERY quick and they were fast to respond to emails.

I had been putting off ordering my seeds because I was uncertain of what I was supporting in the order. I found out about St. Clare Seeds early Saturday morning, placed my order, and in less than two hours I received confirmation that the seeds were ON THEIR WAY! Monday was a federal holiday, so no mail ran, and I was so excited to receive my seeds today - Tuesday! And a package of free squash seeds, too! Thank you so much for not only providing heirloom seeds with fast service, but more importantly for your Catholic faith! I shall report back when we harvest - this is our first year gardening, so I remain hopeful!

A day and a half was all it took to get my seeds. The planting directions are very helpful and clearly printed on the back of each package. I was delighted to find so many space saving plants and plants designed to grow fast for those in higher latitudes.
