I would just like to let people know that King Coop copies pictures of coops from other builders and uses them as his own designs. This is not only copyright infringement, and worthy of a lawsuit, but very rude to the original designers and builders.

Here is the link of one coop design that is build by a carpenter in Redding California that king coops is trying to sell as his own design and for MUCH more money.

I wanted one of these really badly, but sadly the shipping to PA was way too much money. Then I found the king coop website and lo and behold there was the same coop! Scroll down the page midway.

As you will notice, the same blue garage, green hose, etc is in the images, and of course, the EXACT same coops! After reading this blog, I do believe few, if any, of the designs are his own, but he copies others. Not sure if the quality is the same or not, but either way, this man has horrible business practice, and is behaving very unethically stealing other people's images.

I am just a potential customer searching endlessly for the perfect coop, but I found this appalling behavior. Mr. king coop, take down images that are not yours and stop trying to mislead the public. Build and take pictures of your OWN coops, not others people's work, pretending it to be your own.

Dan Boswith of King Coops has illegally taken copyrighted images of my coop, removed my watermark from the photo and posted them on his website as his own work and design and is now marketing them for sale.

He has also posted them on Craiglist in various states and I have had Craigslist remove them due to the violation.

He has not responded to my request to cease and desist and continues to keep the images on his site as well as many others he has stolen from other coop owners. I now have an attorney working on the case.

I would highly recommend thinking twice before doing business with a company such as his that demonstrates illegal business practices with no regard.

Updated from a negative to a neutral. King Coops removed my images from their website. And the legal team at Craigslist removed all the others from their site.

I bought a coop off of king coops and it turned out not only better than the pic, but so much nicer. My neighbor bought a kit coop off them and she loves it as well. I bought a custom built, the clubhouse 2. Me and the hubby went shed shopping, and when we compared the material used and the way they were built to king coops materials and construction, you'll see its not even close. They build them so much nicer. We had to wait an extra week than what we were told, but the wait was well worth it. He does this out of his home so when it rains they get set back, but other than that it was a lovely experience and we would definately refer them to anyone looking for a coop
