Blueberry bushs came in great shape, Iast fall. I was away on a trip; didn't get back for a couple of weeks, they survived in a garage just fine until I potted them in bigger pots. Planted them this spring; look great.

Will definitely buy from this company again.

Keep in mind that ordering plants in the fall keeps you away from the spring rush, which can only add to mistakes by the companies that are out there. Certain plants are easy to to have succes with, when dormant. The price for the blueberries was exceptional, when compared to the size of the plant.

I've got heavy clay soil, and akaline (ph 7.2) at that, but I've excavated out an area, and backfilled with almost 100% peat moss, so will have fun finding out if I can actually grow blueberries here. Also, I treat the water I use to water the blueberries, with an acid, so that I can get the pH of the water down to 5 or below. Will monitor the pH of the soil as well, and add soil sulfur if needed. Wish me luck!

One last thing; I ordered from a couple of companies this spring, Nourse and Indiana Berry, and the quality from supplier was as good as that of Nourse and Indiana Berry. Excellent! The Heartland blueberries came in pots; the Nourse and Indiana Berry plants came bare root. So, the Heartland blueberries are a better deal.

I ordered 6 blueberry plants of three different southern varieties. I live in Texas and was so pleased to find a company with so many varieties available that are suited to my zone 7 and to the low chilling hours of my area.

I appreciated the automated email system that emailed me as my internet order went through and the email that I got when the plants shipped. Believe me when I say that the other nursery I ordered roses from only a day before your order certainly sent no such automated email and as a result, my communication with them was difficult because I had no order number (thinking of course that everyone used these automated systems--wrong!) The point, though, is that I appreciated the communication I got from the company.

I received the plants within 1 1/2 weeks, and they look really great! I see no reason why they shouldn't take off. I also really appreciate the page of information that you sent along with the plants explaining soil conditions, required ph, spacing, etc. I felt that this page was especially useful for a first time blueberry gardner like I am.

I look forward to doing business with this company in the future AND I have already referred my mother to the company, so that she can make a more informed choice on her very first blueberry purchase. (She was thinking of picking up some plants she had seen at a local discount store, and she knew nothing about the variety or whether it would even grow in the south.)

I ordered 11 blueberry plants from Heartland (my 1st order) recently. I was impressed with the plants & the packaging as well..I see that some others have had issues, but my experience was a good one.

When I ordered my blueberries I actually ordered them twice, I called and the error was taken care of......

When I received my blueberries (7 plants) they all look really healthy, have small buds and I was very happy with the size.
I have no reason to believe they will not do well.....
