I ordered some mildly exotic seeds from this company: Glasnost Tomatoes.

The seeds came quite promptly. Since I wanted to make them last as long as possible, I started them indoors under lights; twelve seeds, exactly one per cell.

All twelve came up. It's hard to do better than that!

I ordered from this company years ago. They are what turned me on to Siberian tomatoes. Yum! I had romano pole beans from them that I saved year to year until just recently. I loved them!

I switched to another company because they had some varieties that I wanted to try, but I have not been happy with Company X's germination rates so I am going back to Seeds Trust this year.

I ordered seeds this year on Thursday the 20th. I had them Monday morning. Wow! There was a slight mistake with wrong/missing items, and I emailed them. They responded in a hour that they would send the missing items and I could keep the erroneous item. Thanks guys! I highly recommend this company.

I am very happy with this year's seed. Everything germinated well. There was a little mix up in the mail, and when I notified them through their website, they not only sent one replacement but another related product as well. Very nice! I now have a good friend ordering from these folks as well for high quality seed with high germination rates.

I have bought seeds from Seeds Trust for two years in a row now (2009 and 2010) and in both instances I have received my seeds promptly and accurately.
I buy from them for their selection of Russian Tomatoes. Last year, almost every seed from them germinated and developed into healthy and robust tomato plants.
I will buy again from them in 2011 and I hope to receive the same level of service.

Quite pleased with the ordering process. I used the online shopping cart and was deterred by the really high cost of shipping to Canada, which should only be a few dollars by USPS. I sent an e-mail to the company and received a response from Bill, who explained that the shopping cart software does things behind the scenes and that he'd do the order manually if I sent my order by e-mail, which I did the next day. Shortly thereafter I received an e-mail with an invoice as a pdf (with far more reasonable shipping charges) which I paid via PayPal.

This was prompt and personal customer service from a company whose "bells and whistles" Joomla web site suggested a large organization and corporate-style indifference. Quite the opposite is true.

I have been ordering seeds from Seeds Trust - (aka - High Altitude Gardens), since 1992. We garden at 8,120 ft. and couldn't do without Bill's high altitude seeds. I love the fact that they are a small family owned business and the only high altitude seed company out there. We grow Candy Mountain sweet corn to fruition every year. The cool mountain air doesn't stop Italian Mountain Basil - it thrives - even in the shade. The Kinko 6" carrot is a spiritual experience. The variety of Siberian, Russian and early setting, cold hardy tomatoes is very helpful. We also grow many of Bill's tomatoes - in the water storage solar greenhouse, in hot caps and out in the open.
When you open the package the seeds are throbbing with life and they are always packed with care. The seeds are strong and healthy and have been crucial in our success. The seed packages are very informative, often including companion planting ideas to go with the vegetable.
High altitude gardeners get left out most of the time by other companies so thanks to Bill McDorman and Seeds Trust for supplying us with what we need. I love this company!

A small, family run business in rural Arizona. I've found mailing to be prompt and service good. Packets are very reasonably priced. Although they contain a modest quantity of seeds, it should be enough for the average home gardener. Their mission statement asserts a commitment to seed saving and preservation of plant diversity and sustainability. A good company, worth supporting with your business.

Some seeds are organic. I haven't "scientifically" tested germination rates, so I cannot make any definitive statements in that regard, but they appear to be sprouting o.k. To view the prices, you have click on the price list link, which takes you out of the catalog. (They send you a price list with your order.) I can understand that it may be easier for a small business to update just the price list, rather than revise and reformat a catalog, but some users may find this online feature inconvenient.
