I'm a small business owner who has used Pond Armor for several years now. We really like the product and the customer service we've received from the company. The price is great and any time we have questions about applying the product or what surfaces it will or won't adhere to, we get the answers to our questions almost immediately. The response is fast, the product is great quality (and one of a kind) and the education you get about using the product is priceless.

We are a company in southern California that builds and restores ponds and water features. We were turned on to this product a number of years ago and have been using exclusively ever since. We have resurfaced many, many ponds and water features using this product. The product has always been easy to work with and in all instances continues to do the job. The customer support that we receive, especially when we are on a project site, has always been great. Pond Armor is our product of choice and we continue using on all our projects where it is applicable.

I love this product! I do not consider myself a Mr. fix it or rather a Mrs. fix it but I needed to resurface my small pond and after viewing the website and watching the video's I thought "I can do this!" I wasn't sure how to calculate how much I needed so I called Pond Armor and a real person answered the phone and figured it out for me.Thanks Pond Armor.

Have a four tier waterfall into a pond. The pond itself is the EPDM rubber, which is great.
But my waterfall, leaks, and leaks, and leaks. The wife had put so much silicone in every nook and cranny, it took me weeks to muriatic acid wash it. Had to use a screwdriver or small knife, or an awl to get the stuff off and out.
The Pond Armor, in two coats we bought, was clear. And the thickness of it (dried, both coats), is impressive. I do have one minor leak on the 3rd tier but I'll seal that with the same stuff. I do not hold Pond Armor responsible for this since the face of each shelf, the sides, etc. are numerous areas that are hard to reach, coat, paint, seal. I would say that if I had to do it over again, I'd have saved the thickest slurry I could mix up, for the vertical faces.
Finally, I, like others, hunted endlessly prior to the wife finding this stuff, via surfing; and in the usual places, industrial supply stores, Home Depot and more. There's nothing that comes close to this epoxy base though. Heck, I'd like to do my raised wood deck in this, but haven't checked for that application yet (we have hot summers here.)
Overall, I'm very impressed with the product. When writing a question to 'Pond Armor' pre-purchase, I will say that, although a very humorless bunch, they were an exceedingly straightforward, albeit terse bunch.

I'm new with Dave's Garden but happened on this opportunity to make some favorable comments about Pond Armor. I had a horrible problem with a little Pond I built, leaking. Then an old timer told me about Pond Armor and to give it a try, so I did. It's not cheap but nothing is that has the quality that Pond Armor has. I have to admit though I did have a problem but not with the Pond Armor. It was the temperature I made the application in. So they say, FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS! I called Pond Armor and told them about the problem I was having. The color I was using was Black. When I finished the application, there was nothing wrong and it look good to me. The next morning though, there were large white spots that appeared over night. I called Pond Armor and talked to a fellow by the name of Butch. He was extremely helpfull and immediately sent me enough Pond Armor to re-coat my little Pond. They did not charge me for the product and they didn't even charge me for the postage. Needless to say, I was pleased with that arrangement. When the new shipment of Pond Armor arrived I applied it and have NOT had a problem with it leaking since then. That was over a year ago. Since then, I have used it on a friend of mines little Pond (in March of 07) and again, it has NOT leaked either. My friends little Pond is some 20 years old and has had numerous attempts to stop it from leaking. At least 6 different attempts from the debree I took out of it. Now it is NOT leaking and my friend is able to enjoy it, instead of worrying about it all the time. The old timer was absolutely right about Pond Armor and I would suggest it to anyone who has a problem with a leak or wants to NEVER have a leak problem. As Tony the Tiger would say........it's
G-R-E-A-T! Thanks for reading my comments! Steve in DC

Without getting into an ongoing "he said, she said" situation with this poster, we would like to respond in brief. There are those rare occasions when an individual is attempting to take advantage of us for their own benefit. This is just such a situation. In this case, we are dealing with an individual who, after using all of the product ordered, decided he wanted to completely change the color (from gray to black) and tried to squeeze us for a "drastically reduced rate" on the new color by threatening us. He threatened us with the Better Business Bureau, State Agencies, and posts such as the one left here. Had the shade of gray been an issue with him, he certainly could have checked the product sometime between the day he received it and the day he had someone apply it (approximately a 3 day period of time). Our return policy allows customers seven days to decide if their color choice was what they wanted. At any time during that seven day period, this poster could have asked for an exchange and we would have gladly sent him any other stock color of his choice. Instead the product was applied. Our company has thousands of satisfied and happy clients who have used our products and been assisted with their projects by us. It is not our fault that this individual changed his mind on his color desire, and we determined that it was not reasonable for us to be threatened or blackmailed into providing him with a discount because of it. Finally, please note the poster did say "the product is fantastic." We certainly agree with him on that point!
