I obviously can't be 100% certain that it was them, but shortly after that order a few extra charges magically appeared on my debit card. I don't have a lot of money in my account right now so the only order that was actually processed was an $85.00 charge for something from Rebok. Seeing as I have read a few similar reports and BBB is the only website that I have ordered anything from with this card I can very reasonably assume it was them. When I emailed them they suggested that it may be a computer virus that stole my info... a computer virus on my new laptop... that I've had for three weeks... with antivirus software. I am unconvinced. If you are still reading this I was provided with relatively good service as far as promt shipping, but the batch of amanita muscaria that my order came from was of very poor quality for the price and they (most likely) stole my info. If you do wish to order from BBB I suggest using a visa gift card or anything other than a credit card just in case they have been the ones stealing this info from people. Same mailing address and everything. On the site it did say after 5 days that it was shipped as promised, but no email was ever sent to me about tracking it through usps, I cannot get ahold of anyone at the shop even though i have left a message, and it has been 2 weeks since I ordered the package. I know it doesnt take that long to ship from kansas to ontario. order number 13827. Is it actually coming? Negative | rbaburn (1 review) | On Jan 12, 2013, rbaburn wrote: My job pays me primarily in cash, so I do not use a debit card in my day to day activities. I only use plastic to purchase things online, of which I do little. Recently, my card number had been stolen, and a number of high value purchases had been made internationally. The only places I used my card in the last few months were Bouncing Bear Botanicals.com, and another site that BBB recommended - Botanical Spirit Shop. Seeing that another comment here showed Identity Theft issues when using BBB, I thought people should know that others are having questionable experiences with BBB's business ethics before you decide to shop with them. I can see no way that anybody has--or even could have--accessed any information. We don't store customer credit card information and our checkout page is SSL secured. And we haven't had reports from our card processor of any issue. We take security and protecting our customer information very seriously and wouldn't do anything to jeopardize it. I can only assume it was a coincidence, but will continue to monitor for any possible weak points that someone could access something. Thanks. " |

On the 22nd of the month all four of us had purchases done on our credit cards that we had not done, and Bouncing Bear Botanicals.com was the ONLY website that all of us had purchased from that month. So we have reason to believe that our credit card numbers were sold, and each card had been charged a minimum of 300 dollars upwards of 500 dollars. So keep this in mind if you decide to shop with them, They may ship the products in time, yet we all had negative experiences with Identity Theft On Oct 13, 2011, Bouncing Bear Botanicals responded with: "On Oct 13, 2011 7:55 PM, Bouncing Bear Botanicals responded with: Hi, |

I woud also like to note this was my first time ordering from them.. would like to hear something about this as soon as possible- On Oct 13, 2009, Bouncing Bear Botanicals responded with: "On Oct 12, 2009 8:23 PM, Bouncing Bear Botanicals responded with: Hi, |

They didn't ship for over a month, then were packaged incorrectly for cross border shipping, therefore were seized by Agriculture Canada, and returned. I was promised some seeds instead, but 3 months later, still nothing. They have received other similar feedback on e-bay. On November 4th, 2007, jenf added the following: Try looking at this link for feedback for these people //myworld.ebay.com/bpbotanicals/ . After finally bringing ebay dispute resolution into it I got the following response from my inquiry as to where these seeds may be "Ya they're going today" that was Sept 19th, 2 months after they were paid for, it's now Nov 3rd, still nothing. If you can not ship then don't offer. On November 8th, 2007, jenf added the following: If this is not you, then how come you know the details of my order? When I asked bpbotanicals if they were bouncing bear botanicals, they said that you shipped the products. The address I was given from agriculture canada of the shipper of my seized package was yours. Just because you choose to sell under more than one user name doesn't make the issue any different. I ordered from bpbotanicals and you guys shipped the products as you've already stated. Evidently both had customs issues, which usually happens with just 1 in 10 orders to Canada. The second package hasn't been returned. We don't have any negative feedback on ebay for plants. Check the feedback. Username bouncingbearbotanicals. 99% positive. On Nov 6, 2007 12:44 PM, Bouncing Bear Botanicals added: No wonder. That's not my company. You're posting about the wrong business. Here's my ebay page: http://myworld.ebay.com/bouncingbearbotanicals/ On Nov 8, 2007 2:26 PM, Bouncing Bear Botanicals added: We drop shipped for BPBotanicals. We don't anymore. And I still don't know your name, though I do remember that order. We don't normally ship live plants outside the U.S. at all. If we do, we can't guarantee they get through customs. It's sent at the customer's risk. Ben (at BP) knew that. And then your order was stopped and we STILL went ahead and sent extra, cause I don't want to see anybody lose out on an order--which was also apparently stopped anyway. All this and we never got any money from your order. BP Botanicals owes me about $5,000, which is why I don't drop ship for him anymore. : ) I'm sorry you got caught up with Ben. But that's why your e-mails weren't answered and you weren't communicated with about your order. It wasn't me that wasn't e-mailing you. If you e-mail Bouncing Bear, you get a reply within 1 day. E-mail BP and... well, you probably won't ever hear back. " |
