I'm reluctant to complain about a company but this one had issues that will hopefully be addressed. We ordered over 900 bulbs from this company. Some were fine and performed well in the garden such as tulips 'Jacqueline' and 'Asta Nielsen'. However when we received our order well into October, it came with a notice that they had cancelled 275 bulbs with no advance warning. We should have been notified at the very least by e-mail of the unavailable bulbs so we could secure replacements elsewhere. There were few substitutes available to us that late in the season. Fifty of the bulbs were also mis-labelled...we ordered 50 tulip 'Doorman's Record' and we received the ugly brown & yellow 'Gavota' instead, a far cry from the carmine parrot tulip we ordered. Hopefully Woodenshoe will be able to work out the bugs in their system soon.

I made a trip to visit the farm in March 1997. I ordered a package of 10 bulbs while I was there. I figured I could save on the price by ordering and paying for them 6 months ahead. I then drove there again (about an hour each way) to pick up the bulbs in the fall. I noticed the price of the bulbs in the fall was $.40 each at their shop. I didn't notice until I got home that I had been charged $.70 each for my bulbs. Needless to say, I was not pleased.
