Comments regarding Excelsa Gardens

Mark and his team have been growing top quality exotics for years. Excelsa is a family business and it shows; everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Pricing is a little above average but you really get what you pay for. During the many years I have bought plants here for many projects and installations in the Wellington and Palm Beach area and never had an issue.

If you are looking for top quality or just that exotic plant that is hard to find, this is the place!

Recently I was on a trip to visit nurseries and gardens in southeast Florida. One nursery that was often recommended to me was Excelsa Gardens, and I am glad it was! Trying to find a good selection of shade plants and unusual plants can be difficult, yet Excelsa has a great selection. For instance, they have the largest selection of ground orchids (Spathoglottis) I have seen. They even have a whole greenhouse of Cordylines! Wandering around their nursery I saw Alocasias, Calatheas, Colocasias, gingers, Mussaendas, Medinilla and so many more sun and shade plants. All the staff that I met were friendly and helpful. Oh yes, the plants looked great for August in Florida! I can't wait to go back next time I visit the West Palm Beach area.
