I ordered two Anthuriums on 02/26, received a confirmation email and my payment went through immediately. I expected things to be a little slower than the two-week turnaround estimated on their site, but after a month with no correspondence I figured it'd be wise to contact them. I sent them an email on 03/30 and never got a response. Today, 04/28, I contacted them through filing a case with PayPal. The few other times I've filed a case PayPal waited to hear the other party's case, but this time I got a refund within minutes, which makes me wonder if something's up.

Really disappointed that I won't get to purchase Brigitta's lovely-looking plants, but two months with zero updates is a bit much. I can take delays and cancellations, but not being ghosted.

On May 5th, 2021, sordes changed the rating from negative to neutral and added the following:

Changing my rating to neutral because I did receive my plants eventually.

The bad: It was only after posting this review that I heard back from them. I got a link to a tracking number for a package that was never delivered, but I didn't get a tracking number in the first place, so there's no way for me to tell if that was mine in the first place. I try to be positive, but it really does feel like I only got my plants because I posted about my experience here.

The good: When my plants did eventually ship, I got them in two days, and they're absolutely gorgeous. I've never seen a better packing job, and neither plant had so much as a creased leaf.

In the end, I'm very wary about ordering from Eldon Tropicals again; I like to have communication with the folks I'm buying from, even if it's just a general update on their website or social media. I can tell they've got great plants though, so I do plan to buy from them again, it'll just have to wait until the next time I'm forced to go to Florida.

Ordered one plant from them, asked them about it 2 weeks in after waiting for any word. Sent them several more e-mails since then. I am at 4 weeks in I'm still waiting for them to ship my plant- I think I'll have open a dispute case unfortunately.

They reached out to me explaining that due to COVID19 it's been a little harder to operate. The plant arrived though.

Placed two orders on March 1. No communication in the interim, never received plants, no refund if unable to fulfill. Have contacted them, am waiting for response, will update then.

On June 19th, 2014, magnaastra added the following:

Received 'replacement' plants, mostly in pretty rough shape right out of the box. Sure one of the papaya is DOA, broken clear in half, elephant ears' stems pinched and crimped, packed too tightly in a too small box? Also received one smaller plant than what I'd paid for, larger size probably out of stock by now. Not happy, but not changing my rating since they did make the attempt. Probably will only buy here if I can't find it anywhere else.
