I received my first order from Graceful Gardens and received very nice, big, healthy plants.
I will order from them again and highly recommend.

I have ordered from this company for the last 3 years....they have the best delphinium selection around. My order is always prompty filled and the plants are of wonderful quality. They are one of my favorite online garden suppliers!

WOW...big healthy plants packed to perfection. This was my first experience ordering from this company and won't be my last. Their pricing is more than reasonable and they let you know when the eta is. This company gets an A++++.

This is the second year that I've ordered from this company. I received my order of 3 flats of plants 2 weeks ago and although it's still a little too early to plant for us, the plants are doing very well in a shady spot behind the garage. I swear that they've doubled in size since I've received them! It is like Christmas all over again when you open the box- big, green, healthy plants that have remained moist throughout the shipping process and not a single broken stem. The plants are a great value for the money. I look forward to ordering from them next year.

As a sidenote, I held my wedding reception in my garden last Labor day weekend and received many wonderful compliments on all my beautiful flowers, 75% of which came from Graceful Gardens!

I have gotten large healthy plants from Graceful Gardens for over 4 years now. My lastest order will be delivered early next week. The plants are always very well packed. Each time my order arrives it feels like a holiday. Top quality plants shipped to me on time and many reseed in my garden. For people who like getting more for there dollar Graceful Garden is the place to order from.

Fantastic value when you buy three trays. Be sure you are ready to have that many plants arrive and know where you plan to plant them. Some of mine died because I didn't plant them out fast enough and it rained too much, too fast. This is not a comment on the company, but on my unpreparedness. It's a good way to get a lot of beautiful plants, quickly and inexpensively. Much of my garden today comes from Amanda and Mark, who are terrific people to deal with. Highly recommended!!!

This is a great company. The plants are superb. They were the only ones on the web to carry a certain viola that I wanted and they came in excellent shape in a very timely manner even though they had to be shipped across country. The only difficult part for me is that shipping to CA is very expensive. Otherwise I'd order all of my annuals from them.

Amanda and Mark are great. the plants always arrive thriving and in good shape. If the plants don't arrive in good shape, they are always willing to replace them quickly. I have been shoppping with them for several years and have never felt taken. Yesterday, i went to my local nursery and found the same size heliotope I got from graceful gardens ( i got 8 plants) for $5.99 each. I also ordered lavetura and the local had that too for $5.99 and I got 8 of them from Graceful Gardens as well. I would have paid $96.00 plus tax for 16 of my favorites. A couple of dollars more and I could have gotten two whole flats from Graceful Gardens. So don't let the price of a flat ($54.00) put you off. Order the 3 flats at $49.00. You will save money. Remember, you are getting packs of 4 or 6 plants or flats not just individual plants. The 3 flats I ordered is a whole lot of gardening. They seem to have the plants the locals offer as individual pots. Skip the impatients, petunias and marigolds. Go for different and the best.

I ordered the cottage garden collection and was astonished last week when I saw the beautiful plants that were shipped. The quality of these plants is hard to describe. They were carefully packaged and none had any damage at all. I had such fun digging through the 'peanuts' to find my little treasures in the box. They are truly lovely. I had never ordered from Graceful Gardens before, but would not hesitate to do so again.

Having had wonderful experiences with Graceful Gardens plants in past years, I didn't order for the past two as I was raising many seeds under lights in the basement. Couldn't do that this year (school play) so sent off an order hoping they were as great as before...and they were! The plants appear to be the size you get from local nurseries, but are amazingly well-rooted...and my monarda (red shades) which has always fizzled out mid-summer when I've tried it before are now blooming--the plants are 2' square and the blossoms are clear beautiful colors, not that muddy maroon. Physostegia also flourished, as did their many fine delphiniums and Sweet William. Thanks again, Amanda!

I ordered a tray of perrenials for the first time. They arrived quickly. They were a nice size, a few containers were damaged in shipment and the shipping box was wet and damaged. I called and received a call within the hour.! A very nice woman sent me replacements for the plants in damaged containers as these plants seemed iffy when planted. This did not happen often she explained. I received the replacements quickly and in good condition. The plants were nice size, healthy and have done very well. They bloomed very soon! I am very pleased. I would definitely order from these very nice people again. Great plants and not found just anywhere. Great communication!

I was starting to doubt UPS because it was 6:30pm and I didn't have my package yet. Just as I was about to give up on it getting today the door bell rang. By the time I got to the door the UPS man put the box on its side not the way it should have been. I cut through the tape and the first hint of a happy customer came out. I could see some leaves before I even started to remove the peanuts. After reading the instructions I started to scoop out some of the peanuts and I began to smile. Wow! These are healthy plants. I ordered the Hollyhocks and Rose Campion. Much to my surprise the Rose Campion leaves were soft just like the Lambs Ears I planted for my daughter because she loved the feel of it. I will continue to order from this company every chance I get. I appreciate the small family businesses that put so much time and love into their plants. I have recently decided to deal with these types of places more often. I wish they had more to choose from but I realize that if they had more the prices would probably go up because of having to hire more people. Stay the same and I will order from you often. I have ordered from Graceful Gardens twice. Their prices are the best I can find anywhere. The plants are always healthy and amazingly large. The foxgloves I received last year have reseeded into a forest of huge sturdy plants. The catalogue has no color photos, but the website has lovely pictures. The owners are wonderful to deal with.
This is the place where I go first to order plants.

Nothing boosts the WOW factor in a garden like Delphiniums in full bloom and this place specializes in them. Since we all know you need to have a substantial number of a particular plant to make any kind of impact, I was not inclined to purchase 2 or 3 bloomsize Delphiniums at our local nursery at $15-25 a container. I have tried to grow things from seed but I generally end up forgetting where they were planted, where I left the pots, what was growing in them in the first place -- even if it meant savings hundreds of dollars. Until now I could not have more than 1 or 2 Delphiniums (the first one ordered from White Flower Farms was the modest Blue Butterfly, but it has a short life expectance and WFF expects you to order these "perennials" every other year). Enter GRACEFUL GARDENS. I found them completely by accident one night while fantastizing a spring cottage garden with Delphiniums in bud at the center, ready to burst with color just as the spring bulbs were spent. These are reasonably priced and terribly affordable, with exceptional stock and a few offerings that you can't find easily anywhere else (New Zealand Delphiniums for instance). The catalog is selective and does not offer every flower under the sun, but they have a basic number of annuals and perennials that will boost the WOW factor in my garden this year to 100. Their specialty is Delphiniums. But they also sell Lobelia, Florist-stemmed Snapdragons, Alyssum saxatile, Foxglove, Hollyhock, Stock and Nicotiana, among other cottage stems, and I have already ordered to many to put in the ground. I understand they do not have a Fall selection so Spring is the only time to put their plants in the ground. But my first order arrived in pristine condition. This is a terrific company. I hope they are around for a long time. So many flowers, slo little time...

This is my second year with this company. I ordered two flats and was happy with every plant. Beautiful delphiniums. Every one is thriving. Very nice people to work with.

This was my first time ordering from this company, but not my last. I ordered one tray of mixed plants just to see what I would get. Plants arrived on time, all were well watered, and larger than I expected: The Hollyhocks and Foxgloves in particular were MUCH better than I expected for the price. There were a few broken leaves, but nothing significant and the size and health of the plants more than made up for it. Very nice customer service, too. I had sent an email before ordering because I was not sure if I had the best growth conditions for the plants I wanted and they were very helpful in suggesting varieties and alternatives.

I just received 3 boxes of beautiful plants from GG, right on time. Everything was in great shape due to thoughtful packing. One box was delivered up-side down; even so, not one leaf was broken! I am very pleased with the plants and the excellent communication with the company; every e-mail was answered promptly. Without a doubt I will order from them again!!

Great company! They carry a lot of beautiful older varieties that you can't get locally, and they are great for people like me (too lazy to start seeds early enough to plant out). I ordered 3 trays last year, and they were all healthy and often already flowering in the box. Great packing, too--even the tray I ordered late in the season arrived in good shape. Prompt and friendly communications, as well. They are definitely on my list of regular suppliers every spring.

After getting the run a round with Green Mountain, It was getting late in the season, July to be exact. I read in one of the forums that a member had ordered from this company and I thought I would give them a try. The plants arrived as promised, all alive and well and healthy and looked like they had been just dug up out of the ground. They were all large plants. I am getting ready to place my order again this year with this company. There are TOP DRAWER!

Fabulous flowers! I have ordered from Graceful Gardens a number of times now and always with complete success! The flowers come leafy and strong in sturdy packaging. The owners respond personally to customer comments. I will continue to order from this company year after year; their prices can't be beat and the quality of plant and quality of service is definitely top rate.

Great quality and terrific prices. It is just amazing how some companies are able to deliver wonderful plants at competetive prices. I have ordered plants from numerous mail order sources and after a few years of experience, I think I can safely say that there are a few that really deliver on the promise. Graceful Gardens is one that I would order from over and over.

I just received my first order from Graceful Gardens and I'm very impressed and extremely pleased. The plants are all healthy and in perfect condition - not a broken or dead leaf to be found! I found this great company through Garden Watchdog --- and all the rave reviews are well deserved! I have ordered from many different nurseries via the internet in the past two years ... and Graceful Gardens is the best supplier for plants that I have found. I ordered two flats of flowers this spring, and was pleasantly surprised at how healthy and LARGE the plants were. The packaging was great, and my plants were shipped at the time I requested them. No surprises or back-orders either. All of my plants took right off and grew like gangbusters --- My Foxgloves & Delphiniums bloomed the first season & have been the talk of the neighborhood. All this at a bargain price!! I can recommend this company 110%. I am planning new flower beds for next spring already & I'll be filling them with plants from Graceful Gardens.

I ordered three flats from this company this spring (96 plants), and everything was fantastic. Big sturdy plants, great packaging, good customer service, and a decent although not extensive selection. The best place I've found to buy the basics, and cheaper than the good nurseries that I can find locally.I'll be ordering from them next spring.

I just received 36 plants two days from my order in juicy, fresh, beautiful shape. I have ordered perennials from around 25 different companies in the past year and this is one of the top. Prices are incredible, too. As others have noted, it would be nice if they expanded their selection -- I'd order from them every time!

I'm a novice gardener. Amanda Shenstone, one of the two proprietors, was extraordinarily kind and helpful in offering advice over the phone. I've ordered twice now; both times the plants were large and vigorous and arrived promptly. My sister-in-law has had the same experience. Not the hugest selection, but a pleasure to do business with. Beautiful plants, great service, best prices I've seen in scouring the Internet.

I recently ordered a large shipment of plants from this company, and I recevied them last night. I was so impressed with this company! The plants were packed very carefully, and there were no broken stems or damaged plants when I took them out of the box. They were in transit for two days, and when I received them, their leaves were still moist with water from the day they were shipped. They were very large plants with lots of leaves, much larger than I expected for the price. I received an email the day they shipped with an estimated date of arrival. Then, I received another email from UPS with a tracking number. The shipment arrived right on time. I was so pleased with the quality of the plants. I will definitely order from them again, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for well established large plants at an inexpensive price.

I have to say this is an awesome company! The customer service was quick, effective and friendly! I see that a larger selection might be nice, but not if it sacrifices their quality of operations!
I did not find a larger selection of cottage varieties in one species.
I also love the variety of hard to find annuals and perennials! I can't wait for my salpiglossis to open!
I hope to expand my beds next year and order more!

I am so pleased! I ordered 64 plants and they all arrived in wonderful condition on the exact date they were scheduled. Nice sized plants at a great price. I will defintely order from them again. I too wish they had a bigger selection, they would get all my business.

Today I received an order of 48 nicotania sylvestris. These annual plants were healthy, large, very green, and well rooted. Even though the UPS guy plopped them on their side when I opened the box they were all in great shape. They were shipped only yesterday! I have tried for two years to grow nicotania sylvestris from seed to no avail, I heard about Graceful Gardens through Garden Watchdog and am glad I did. They do not have a large selection of annual and perennial plants, but based on my experience and the comments of others I reccomend you check them out.

I placed an order with them last year for a flat. All the plants arrived in good shape and almost all of them are still alive a year later. My only complaint is their selection is somewhat limited. It's a great place to pick up a lot of common plants like echinacea or rudbekia.

I am an experienced gardener who has ordered plants by mail for many years. The plants from Graceful Gardens are the strongest, healthiest I have ever received and the prices are extremely low! Their delphiniums are bushy and well-branched. TRY THEM!!!

I am so happy to see so many enthusiastically positive comments about Graceful Gardens! Amanda and Mark (the owners) happen to be my absolute favorite local plant supplier; I have been growing their plants for many years, purchased at our excellent local Farmers' Market, and so I am well acquainted with the outstanding quality of their plants. They grow their own plants from seed - I've been out to their gardens to pick up orders, so I've seen for myself - and for that reason alone I can highly recommend them to anyone that gardens in as unfriendly a climate as central New York state can be! One thing you can be sure of: it would be difficult for anyone to have more challenging growing conditions than those we have here - hot & humid, drought & rain-sodden, bitter cold, blustery winds, heavy clay soil, constant freeze-thaw-heaving. And that's all within a week or two!

Although I've never had to pay the fairly high shipping rates, I know that they are the most conscientious growers you could imagine, and I can only think that they would take as much care in shipping as they do in growing. Their prices are excellent, even figuring in shipping, because you will be getting healthy well-grown plants from totally reliable folks. As they say in the catalog, you probably couldn't grow them yourself for less; I know that's true, because my sister-in-law has tried! I have mostly bought annuals from them; if you order perennials, expect them to be small - and that is a GOOD thing. Because your plants will be young and healthy and in their first season of growth, they will settle in to the conditions of your own garden, and will be much healthier and better-adapted in subsequent years.

Don't hesitate for a moment to order from Graceful Gardens! I know these folks, and they will do whatever they can to ensure your success with their precious little baby plants.

This is the BEST gardening mail order company I have used! The plants are in terrific shape and thrive, the customer service could not be better and the selection, although small at the present time, will surely grow as they do. The delphiniums and foxgloves are outstanding. I would recommend Graceful Gardens to all gardeners.

Large healthy plants, shipped when promised. I've placed orders 2 years in a row and have been completely satisified - not like some other companies I've dealt with! Their customer service is the best. From e-mailing you a shipping date (with the option to change it if you want) to prompt responses to problems (UPS damaged one of my boxes - replacements arrived within 3 days). This is one of the few companies I will continue to order from. I only wish their selection was larger so I wouldn't have to deal with other companies.

Well packaged quite large and exceptionally healthy plants. Shipping from New York to California took three days only! I loved that some difficult to find things were readily available. My only negative comment is that a few things are listed by common names but specific variety is not cross referenced to actual botanical names. The descriptions were so well done, that is a small problem as I can get the information from my other sources on my own bookshelves, but a new gardener could be confused on some of the more unusual offerings.
