I purchased a cutting and it was perfect, so I ordered a second to gift. When the second one arrived the base was wrapped in a plastic baggie; because the cut was fresh the baggie acted like a humidity dome and caused the entire bottom to be soggy and saturated by the time it arrived. So soggy in fact that trying to remove it from the packaging made chunks break off. After a few days it was clear there was no hope for the cutting. I repeatedly reached out to the company with NO response. I even sent pictures.
I thought maybe it was a fluke, the 1st one was gorgeous and I still wanted to gift one to a fellow cactus lover, so I purchased a THIRD cutting with a little note in the comments about leaving the baggie off. I also sent a final email stating I had to make another purchase because they refused to respond or work with me on any level.
They clearly received me messages. When the 3rd cutting arrived it was not only significantly smaller it was covered in scars, calluses, and some form of scale.
I am beyond disappointed. I was hoping the damaged cactus was an accident and the next would be better.
It almost seems like they purposely sent one in horrible condition.

Placed an order for 5 cacti. All were in pots, large, healthy plants. All are growing and doing well after transplanting to other pots with a good cactus mix.

One of the plants was misidentified. The Mammillaria should have had large pink flowers but when it bloomed a couple months later the flowers were small and white. I sent a note to inform them of the problem and never heard back. Even an acknowledgement and apology would have been nice, but nothing. I doubt if I would order from them to add plants to my collection if they can't send what I paid for.

A replacement plant arrived in the mail today. In a reply to a followup email Cactus Limon said they thought shipping info was supposed to be automatically sent to me when the plant was shipped. Despite the miscommunication, response was quick and resolved the issue. I'm changing my rating to positive and I would definitely order from them again.

I updated my rating before opening the parcel to see the plant sent as a replacement. It had been freshly potted in wet soil and rot had set in. I notified Cactus Limon and received a response "We have another drying out for you. Will send at beginning of the week." That was 4 weeks ago. I have not received a reply to any email sent since then. Maybe they don't have another to send, but the lack of communication of any kind makes it unlikely I will order from them again.

I received my plants and one of the plants was packaged so poorly that the plant had all broken leaves on it. The plant was so bad I through it away. I emailed customer service and got no response, not only do they ship terrible plants they do not respond to customer complaints. I will never order from them again.

I emailed Cactus Limon before I made a purchase and I was told via email that the cacti would be shipped in 2" pots. I was also interested in decorative pots and they told me that they had 6 different colored ceramic pots that you could just slip the 2" plastic pot into without doing any transplanting. So I ordered them. What I got was all bareroot cacti, most of which were too big for the pots. All they said when I emailed them about it was "sorry for the misunderstanding."

In trying to remedy this situation, I asked if I could drill a hole in the bottom of the pots they sent me (because they stress on their website that cacti need drainage). I did not get an answer!

None of the plants came with any identification so I had to look up information on the internet so I could plant them and maintain them correctly.

I asked them to send me six 2" plastic pots to insert in the ceramic pots, but again no reply.

They stress on their website that they will be glad to answer any questions and help in any way. I am a beginner at growing cacti and I could have really used the help. So I was very disappointed in their "no response" attitude. The only time they responded quickly was when they thought they would get a sale. Too bad because I think the cacti are pretty nice, but I will not do business with people who ignore you after the purchase is made.

Wondering if this company is still in business. I placed an order in the Spring of 2011 and everything was great. Very pleased. Placed another order on June 18 2011, paid with Pay-Pal, thought everything was good but never heard from them. I e-mailed Cactus Limon 4-5 times about my order, no answer. Finally in mid July I received an e-mail asking if I had received my order and if not they would reship. I answered back immediately stating I had not and never heard another word. I sent several more e-mails, Pay-Pal sent an e-mail and finally Pay-Pal refunded my money after not hearing from the company. Saddens me for I really did like the company and their products.
