Sent confirmed payment over a year ago now and still no plants nor further communication beyond the initial payment confirmation. I'm truly sorry for whatever their personal troubles may be but keeping my payment is theft. Soon after my confirmed payment also about a year ago they started soliciting donations online. They had some nice words on interesting web sites but there doesn't seem to be any business operating at all. |

I tried for well over a year to get a replacement order for hazelnut plants fulfilled. They'll be happy to take your order and your cash but don't expect much after that. After a slew of excuses they eventually just stopped answering my order queries. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they even failed to respond to that. I've been told that frankness is a virtue so here's the frank truth: they're thieves, plain and simple. |

It worked out eventually. The second order the following year went OK. I placed a third order last fall, but they haven't shipped and haven't responded despite months of repeated emails. |

(How difficult is it for a "small" company to write a check?!). They claim their policy of never giving refunds was on their website when I ordered -- I just missed it). They offered to ship the plants I ordered with their 2017 shipments. Seeing little choice, I accepted their offer. I'll be back to report whether or not I receive any plants. Checking with Dave's Garden Watchdog is a great idea BEFORE ordering. On June 17th, 2017, DolceSun added the following: May 2017 has come and gone. I sent an e-mail to Badgersett a couple of months ago asking whether they were still going to ship my order in May. No response. No shipment. I've sent another e-mail today but have little expectation of a response. Their modus operandi appears to be to rip off customers whose orders are so small that filing suit is impractical. I'm filing a second complaint with the BBB as well as a complaint with the federal government: [HYPERLINK@www.usa.gov] I hope everyone who has been ripped off by Badgersett does the same. On June 17th, 2017, DolceSun added the following: The website for reporting internet fraud that was removed from my last post can be found by searching for "online safety USAGov." |

Come mid-May and no peep I inquire; they answer "you're in the queue, just wait". Come mid-June and I inquire, they answer "a little more patience would be great". Then no more replies until finally a broadcast email they are suspending shipments for the year. So having read here about plant quality I am asking for a refund; wish me luck. |

Contacted them in May 2016 and they replied in a dismissive fashion that they were busy and this continued in June with no trees being shipped. |
Negative | breakfast (4 reviews) | On Apr 11, 2016, breakfast Hardwick, VT wrote: worst plant material, worst service. I ordered about two hundred and fifty dollars worth of plants and seeds from them and when I got them, 3/4s were dead. The way the package was put together was a joke and when I asked them about it, they immediately tried to blame the post office. I took pictures of the arrangement and the plants before I called them. Even when they got the pictures emailed to them they were obsessed with the whole blameshifting thing and wouldn't take ownership of a simple mistake on their part. They would not refund my order but instead put me through a bureaucratic process of negotiating with them. They were supposed to get back to me months ago about the outcome and still have not, and probably won't unless I "badger" them. Seriously if you want a headache and some crappy plants make an order with them. If not order plants somewhere else! |

As with other comments, I had great difficulty in getting information about when plants would be shipped. Plus some plants were no longer available and rather than being given an options to re-order and pay when available - the next year - they kept all of the money and sent some of the missing items the next year. |

Every attempt to contact them or expect them to act on promises was accompanied by at least a very long delay and a pathetic excuse. Only 4 of my initial order of 21, for which I paid $132, ever survived. After about a year of trying I eventually received a replacement shipment and none of those survived even though I planted immediately and kept them out of the sun until they saw the hole. I mail order many trees, shrubs and other plants from other companies and never had any look as bad as that first shipment. I really appreciate Dave's Garden Watchdog as I have found the comments to be an excellent guide. |

I sent the order blank and a check which was cleared by my bank on 8-6-09. I never received an acknowledgement of this . After numerous e-mails, phone calls, etc, I am still waiting for an acknowledgement of a planned shipping date or the "refund of the check" as they stated in their website. I received an e-mail stating that "they are overloaded with work" (however they had time to cash the check). After sending another e-mail and making a phone call (just this morning - Feb 4, 2010) I feel the least they could do is "RETURN THE CHECK". I will never do business with them again !!!! |

I've sent four emails. No response to any of them. I simply am inquiring to find out if my order was even received (no confirmation of any kind was sent out), and if so an approximate shipping date. Hopefully I can come back and change this to a positive, but right now things aren't looking too good. |
