I had been looking for some Francis and Ruth Rogers iris and couldn't find many companies who sold their flowers. I saw their phone number on Dave's Garden and called for a list of their flowers. I ordered about 10 iris, all "Rogers" creations, except one. The flowers arrived quickly in great shape. The prices were super. They sent me three of their newer iris as bonus. Rogers has some beautiful iris. I can't wait to see Masai Warrior, Gleam Beam, Wedding Orchid and more bloom in my garden next year.

This was my first year ordering from this company and I was very pleased. Some of the rhizomes were a bit on the small size, however they were very generous - even replacing a 3.00 plant they were sold out of with a new intro.

I've bought irises from Meadowbrook Gardens every year for the last ten. I order and then pick them up there directly. I've always been happy with everything I have received. In all those years I only got one iris incorrectly marked and they replaced it immediately when I next saw them with the correct iris. Everything has been well grown and healthy.

But probably first and foremost is the quality of the iris that they hybridize themselves. Francis and Ruth Rogers have introduced many top quality irises to commerce that are like absolutely no other. For example, Cajun Cooking, Masai Warrior, Chippewa Brave, Joyce Diane, Dreamville, Jimmy's Smile...the list goes on and on. Being in Wisconsin their irises don't get seen on a widespread level as many of the top AIS medal winners do. Doesn't mean they are any less worthy of the top awards...they are.

It's always a pleasure doing business with them and their family. Very kind, honest, and decent people all the way! I highly recommend buying from this garden.

I really like this company and hope to order from them for many more years. All that I've gotten from them take right off growing like they've always been there. The new intro's are very reasonable too,at 35.00 each.

Francis and Ruth Rogers are hybridizers of gorgeous iris. This is my first year ordering and talking with them. Iris that arrived are nice healthy medium size iris. Bonus was included with order and shipping is only 4.00 for 15 or less rhizomes. I expect that will increase in time. I highly recommend this couple and encourage everyone to try them. They are super to speak with and are like us, looking to buy nice plants at decent prices.

This spring in April, the iris I received last year from the Rogers bloomed and were beautiful. I actually won Best Bi Color in show with Spanish Bolero. Keep in mind the iris had only been inground for one season. I re-ordered this year and anticipate more beautiful blooms next spring.
