I'm a little tardy with my 2014 comments ...drove down to Monticello in June for the bed clearing sale. Turned out they were wanting to clear 20+ beds, clump sales. Prior to the trip I told myself...buy 3 at most. Wandered around for 2 hours and purchases surpassed 3 varieties. Their daylilies are grown IN THE GROUND so proven to survive zone 5 which is important now that we are in the 20+ year freeze your arse winters. I just checked out their listings for 2015 and Ava Gardner looks awesome. |
