I ordered a fox tail fern as a gift. When the fern arrived, it was in very poor shape - many of the fronds had fallen off in the box and most were yellow. It had clearly been shipped in very poor condition and when I contacted the company this was their response:
Hi there,
I guarantee my plants not to be doa. They leave here healthy with a large rootball. Of course plants are going to be stressed a bit being stuck in a dark box for a week. The only perfect mailorder plant is a silk one. Some yellow is not a big deal, just pluck them off ... the plant is fine, new fronds will sprout back out.
Plants should immediately be placed in a container of water to rehydrate in a shady spot when opened.

Very happy with my purchase. I ordered star jasmine and a tea olive and was impressed with the large size and healthy rootball. The jasmine was even loaded with scented booms which was a pleasant surprise.

I ordered and received - in good condition - several clerodendron thompsoniae (bleeding heart climbing shrubs). The root balls were ample, well packed in moist paper sealed inside plastic wrap, and plants carefully secured in paper inside a priority mailing box. As you said, the Post Office is Heck on the plants, but I'm very satisfied with the Night Blooming Cereus you sent. It is much bigger than I expected and most of it is intact (some parts arrived bruised and torn- but I believe it is due to the post office- the triangular box was caved in when it arrived). Thank you Kathy!

I could not be happier with the three passion flower plants I received! They were packaged very well, are vigorous, healthy plants and are much larger than other plants I have purchased online.

I ordered two Tibouchina plants and they arrived in great shape two days after they were sent. They were carefully wrapped in newspaper and the plastic-sealed roots with soil were still moist. As I requested, the two different varieties (one bush, one tree) were labeled with a tag. I'm happy that the smaller one has two buds so I expect that the bush will have profuse flower blossoms sooner rather than later. This is a reliable company to deal with. Kathy was very good with communications and I ordered 30 Christmas Cheer Azaleas. She even shipped them a little earlier than normal since I was in the middle of a re-landscaping project. The plants arrived on time and in very good condition. I have since placed another order for gardinias.

Plants received timely, well packaged, and healthy. Larger than expected. Am quite pleased. Thank you.

I placed an order late February and could hardly wait for it to be shipped in late March. I receiver the confirming e-mail on Monday it had been shipped. Received on Wednesday. Everything was in good condition with blooms still intact, though the plants went into shock the next day. I'm sure they will snap out of it in a few days to a week or so.
I will buy from again. This was my first time buying plants online and was very easy with no problems. Thank You Katz!!

Ordered 4 Cajun Hibiscus from Kathy. All were shipped promptly and arrived in perfect condition and loaded with buds.

Mail-lady brought my Sweet Almond Verbenas today! I was so excited because I've had a terrible time finding any locally. Well.. I did find one for $100.00! I promptly unpacked them and found them to be in perfect shape. The plants were moist and so carefully packed. I could tell that Kathy loves what she does. I have already planted one and looks great. I have bookmarked her site on my favorites. I will be buying from her again!

Just got my order of two Brugs. About a foot and a half
inches long. Root ball was wrapped well(not bareroot).
Surprisingly they did not arrive dried out. Maybe because
it wasn't early,mid, or late summer. Otherwise US priority
mail would have to be used.

Purchased a Night blooming cereus. Received it very quicly and it was packaged very well. A very high quality plant at a very reasonable price. Will definately purchase more plants!

Got my order yesterday. The plants looked a little tired but, I know they will perk up in a few days. I am pleased with them.

Today I received the two plants I ordered from Katz Kuntry Kuttins. This is the first time I ordered from this vendor and could not be more pleased with the size of the plants. The plants were very well packaged and arrived in excellent condition. The price of the plants and the shipping charge was extremely reasonable. I couldn't believe my eyes when I unwrapped the $6. plant I had ordered. If I had spied it at a local nursery I would have thought $16. was a fair price! As soon as I got it potted up (beautiful roots, too), I went to Katz website to see what else I could order. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Ordered 2 different plants. They came wrapped up nice in soil and newspaper, covered in plastic bag. I wish other sellers would take the time to package as well.
All packaged nicely.

I ordered a gallon sized Gardenia "Radican Dwarf." The plant arrived promptly on my doorstep, it was healthy and had lots of young leaves. I was pleasantly surprised to see both variegated and un-variegated leaves (there are multiple plants in the pot). I got a few blooms a week later; they smelled great.
It's been a few weeks in my care and the plant is still doing fine, but the leaves are not shiny anymore, and a few look sad. This is my fault, I need to learn some more about gardenias to keep the plant healthy.

Ordered a jasmine plant, everything came as expected, and the plant looked great. I look forward to doing business again.

I have been dealing with Katz for a few years now and have received great plants shipped in a timely manner. I definitely recommend them.

I ordered 3 brugs and a couple other specials at the very end of August online. One brug was out of stock and a replacement sent. It took a couple weeks to arrive, but I don't garden with a stopwatch anyway so it was fine with me. They were all well packaged and a bit dry (it was very hot weather so this was expected) but each had fantastically large and healthy root systems. I kept them damp for a few days and they all perked up wonderfully, since then putting on some nice new growth. I would definitely recommend this company to others who want very reasonably priced and healthy plants.

Plants were not plants.Hacked rooted cutting with just a side shoot!The kind we trim to make are Brugs look uniform.2 or 3 real growth stems were cut off the nice base and only a side shoot was sent.Beware.Feed back was a big laugh telling me I am confused with another seller!Richie

I'm not sure how you make your cuttings, but me and everyone else I know take a section from the original brug, stick it in dirt to root...from an eye on the section grows a new shoot. Voila! A new plant!
That's what you got ... No other cutting was made on it. We do not take cuttings from ANY plant but our older "mother" plants.
Of course it's a shoot from the base, the base itself doesn't shoot out stems from the middle! If you have some like that, please, please send me a photo as I would like to see that. I'm not too old to learn new things."

Perfect every time! They travel all the way across the country and always are still moist and well packaged. I always get great sized plants and very healthy.

First time ordering and plants arrived when promised. The plants were awesome! Great size, very healthy and big, healthy root systems. Communications with Kathy was great. She answered all my questions and all my e-mails. I've ordered from a few different places, none of the plants even come close to what I received from Kathy. My hibicuis I ordered was beautiful even had 2 buds on it can't wait for them to open. The prices are reasonable. You can tell this lady cares about what she sells. I will order again and again. I would give this company an excellent rating on everything. If you don't order from her, your missing out.

Good prices, fast shipping, plants were big with great root systems. Will use them again for sure. Great to deal with.
