This was my first order from Honeycreek Nurseries, but I'm very pleased. It took about 3 weeks for my order to arrive, but that info was provided on their website so I expected the wait. I did think everything looked like dried up sticks when it arrived, but I planted it all the next day. With lots of sun and rain, everything is now green, leafing out and growing well after just a few weeks. I'm expecting my second order to arrive any day and will order from them again since the prices and selection are stellar.

I read these reviews after I made an order with Honeycreek, and I began worrying. However, my order ended up coming straight away, and was packaged to perfection. My blueberries plants have been in the ground for 1 month and already have berries. They grapes are the same way...I have baby baby grapes on the Himrod and Reliance (unfortunately I am not having luck with my concord, but I have ordered 4 concords from 3 companies and only 1 is actually growing). I ordered several other things that seem to be doing well. When I make a big order, I expect some plants to not make it...after all this is why they are so inexpensive. I am very happy with the success of this order that I am awaiting order 2. We shall see if it is as good.

On March 3oth I placed my order, reading to allow two weeks for processing and that the arrival of my plants depended on availability etc.
April 19th I sent an email to this company checking on the status of my order.
They responded in a timely manner, verifying my order was in shipping and to allow for the shipping time.
Fifteen days later I received my 80 strong, healthy items.along with a gift of two lilly bulbs ready for planting. As well as a planting guide book.
I could not be more pleased and anticpate the growth and beauty of this groundcover.
Thank you HoneyCreek Nurseries!

First time I ordered from any mail order company. Received the correct quantity of plants in good condition about 4 weeks after placing order. I knew to expect small, somewhat dormant plants from reading other comments on this forum. It has been about a month since I planted all of them. I live in zone 5b. Plants ordered were:
*Tree peony: Plant received was already budding and roots were well wrapped to preserve moisture. It is growing and thriving.
*Periwinkle: Ordered 75, estimate around 15-20 have died. Others that appeared dead or unhealthy have now sprouted new leaves (took a couple of weeks). Wouldn't recommend purchasing this particular item. Some had a mildew on them on arrival. Due to the low cost, I do not plan to request a credit or replacements.
*Lily of the valley: Ordered 15, got 2 more than ordered. All started growing right away and appear very healthy.
*Standard hosta: Ordered 6, all are growing and healthy.
*Ostrich fern: Ordered 2, neither has grown at all and I believe both are dead.
*Blue Barlow columbine: Ordered 4, all are growing well.
*Reliance grape vines: Ordered 2, arrived as sticks. Both took about 2 weeks to come out of their dormancy, but they now have very healthy looking leaves.
*Sugar sweet cherry bushes: Ordered 2, both started leafing out immediately and are thriving. Arrived as sticks, but they already are taking on the bush form.
*Also received 2 free Stargazer lily bulbs. Both are growing very well.
Overall, I'm very pleased with my first mail order experience with Honey Creek. I did keep my shipping label just in case, but I don't think I'll have to use it unless I decide to request replacement ferns.

I recently purchased 4 Zepherine Drouhin roses for a very fair price and they all arrived in good time and good condition.

I ordered three tree peonies from Honey Creek; all arrived in good shape, on time, and are thriving.

I have had some sad experiences with others' tree peonies, but these are great.

I ordered the mixed hibiscus last fall and none of them came back this spring. When I looked on the internet for a phone number or email address to contact them, I was directed to the garden watchdog site. There was an email address for yvette@honeycreeknurseries.com. I emailed her and within a couple days she had emailed me back and requested my mailing address to reship the hibiscus. They should be coming in a couple weeks. Thank You!

I purchased the Giant Mixed Hibiscus from Honeycreek Nurseries and none of them came up. I wrote and asked for a refund but the letter was returned saying, "No such address". I double checked it with the invoice and it was correct. I'll not order from them again. When I deal from now on, I will stay with Michigan Bulb and Breck who have not once refused to refund my money or give me credit.

I want to withdraw my negative comment because I was contacted by a very kind lady named Yvette from Honeycreek. I was sent a voucher for full replacement of my hibiscus. The address I had was out of date since Honeycreek was purchased by another company. To the others who have negative comments, I would suggest you write to Yvette@honeycreeknurseries.com. She will help you out.

If the address used was the one listed above, we do not understand why the post office would have returned the letter to the customer. We have emailed the customer and encouraged him to try to send us the request again. Even the good folks at the post office can sometimes make a mistake!"

I ordered the mixed hibiscus by mail and within 2 weeks had my bare root plants. The plants are growing and showing new growth. I am very happy with my order and will do business with this company again.
