I wanted their reply of when the items out of stock would be shipped. Over two weeks of waiting. Also, called their phone number and no reply. NOTE: this business has numerous BBB complains and complaints on other scam sites. Strange, I was using their site for orders for five years and only this year they have appeared to provide poor business,

I was ripped off last year by this scammer named Matt Aven. It seems he's moved around quite a bit lately. The address listed above is incorrect and it was his home which was sold last year. He is now using a UPS Store mail drop. It's obvious that he's a drop-shipper that can't pay for the products so they never get shipped from his supplier.

In the future, always look at the contact address and then look it up through Google. If they use an apartment, a drop box at a UPS store, it's usually a scam.

If you would like to contact Matt Aven or his wife, Jessica, you can easily locate their real address and phone number, it's listed at http://www.whois.com and type in megagrow.com. There will be your information. Of course the information listed on their website is incorrect. They have not returned my calls. BBB gives them an F rating. Next step for me to file a complaint with the IL Attorney General's Office.

I ordered some algoflash and soil syrup. Megagro took my money out of my credit card on June 24th 2015. I have not heard from that company ever since. I tried to call and I wrote 3 emails which were unanswered.
So I had no choice but to contact the BBB of Illinois today!

Buyer beware! A plant group I belong to on-line had recommended MegaGro as a source for a particular type of fertilizer, due to their very reasonable prices. I placed my order in early April, paying in full by credit card at their on-line store. After receiving the initial order confirmation email, I have heard nothing since. I have written emails, placed telephone calls (goes straight to voicemail), and sent messages through their site-based contact board... NOTHING! The friend that recommended me has attempted contact as well, to include FAXing them, and still nothing. Now it appears that others in the same group are having the same results. I am opening a claim with the Better Business Bureau today. I emphatically recommend staying away from this company!

I actually love the megagro products but I have been trying to contact them about an order and no one has gotten back to me about the problems.
Only half of my order was delivered, which was fine because I know sometimes you might not have everything to send immediately, but the problem is their communication options are completely crazy. They do not answer their phone. I am sure that is because they don't want to deal with angry customers.. but whatever, when there is a problem they need to deal with me immediately. I have emailed them daily but they have not gotten back to me.
The other problem I had was that the Lawn Honey emptied immediately when it was hooked up to the hose. I have used the Lawn Honey before and it lasted for several applications. I used their delivery system and followed the instructions. I even drew a line with a permanent marker so I would know how much I was using. I didn't even get a chance to check it because in less then 2 minutes the whole bottle emptied. At least I was able to get some around my two mini apple and orange trees, but the lawn did not have an opportunity to get sprayed. I am now still waiting for my Rose Care kit which I need to get on the plants now that we have a little break in the hot weather.
If they would only contact me and let me know what was happening with the order that I paid for. Will reevaluate if I ever hear from them.

Well I have not heard from the company yet. Called 25 or so times.. no answer .. at least as many emails. Now have opened a claim with to reimburse the money they owe me. I would really rather have the products since I do like them.
You might think I'm crazy but I did put in another order, for one I needed some Lawn Honey since we are having a drought and I wanted to use it to help keep my lawn from needing so much water. In this second order the send the megagro which was left out of the first order and did not send the Lawn Honey. So now I have a second claim in with paypal to have reimbursement for the second order. What is it with these people that they can not get these orders correct. I see there is a Fax number listed here so I might try faxing them with proof that they left out two of the products ordered, since they listed correctly on the packing slip that (0) zero product was in the shipment for both products. If anyone can tell me what is going on with this company I would love to know. If I knew anyone who lived in the area then I would send them to visit the company. When I put the address in Zillows it just showed a house in a residential area that was listed on their site.

Well I finally got my rose gardening kit.. after I had all ready co to paypal and gotten my money back. I had also order several other products and it took very long for it to get here and it still wasn't right but this time they gave me more products then ordered. I am not sure why they cannot get their orders right. It is not good business not to respond to your customers. There is not way to contact them except to leave a message when you order a product and who knows if they read them.. My way of dealing with them is to order a large order of a product so I don't have to deal with them often.. then if I do get it I have enough for the season, and if I don't get the order I can get paypal to reimburse for their failure to complete the order. I would not buy from them without using paypal because you would have no real way to deal with their mistakes.

I'm particularly disappointed because I had ordered from them several times before and was happy with the products.

I would caution anyone against placing an order with this company.
