Comments regarding Hole's Greenhouses

Absolutely the best nursery in Western Canada. I only live 2 hours away so I make an annual trip every year to Hole’s Greenhouse. Their plants are very healthy and well taken care from all the friendly knowledgeable staff.

They have everything you possibly can think of in stock. A little bit more expensive than other nurseries, but at least they guarantee their plants such as all perennials, trees or shrubs having been properly planted and received reasonable care.

Trees, Shrubs & Roses; that die within the first growing season (until November) or the second growing season (until the following November) can be exchanged for a credit from Hole’s.
100% credit in the first growing season
50% credit in the second growing season

They also have an annual reference/catalogue that comes out early spring each year at your local drug/ book store.

I ordered six plants from Holes in March/07 and requested delivery on or around mid-May/07. On May 9th I received my plants, 4 Hostas, a Brunnera and an ornamental grass, all in perfect, healthy condition, soil still damp. Would not hesitate to order from them again!

i ordered an cypripedium orchid from them and it came beautifully packaged (still in the pot which was a nice suprise) and very healthy. There customer service people where also very polite and helpful and i would definetly recoment them.

Excellent selection if you visit early in the year. Alpines a real treat.

I have visited this greenhouse on many occasions. I usually find what I'm looking for and of course what I'm not. The plants are very healthy and the staff are very friendly and helpful. gloriajcameron
