My one T. 'Upper Class" and three T. 'Best in Class' were so tiny they hardly had a chance & died over the next year. T. variabilis & T. flagellate were also weak and too small. T 'Marvelous Masterpiece" was also too small to survive on its own but lingered for over a year. T. Silver Queen also malingered for about a year before dying. The problem with all these plants is that they had come right out of a greenhouse without any hardening off. No one without a greenhouse could have saved them. Plus they were also too small. In the same period I also ordered from Birdrock Tropicals and Tropiflora and got excellent plants, as well as Tillandsia International, Davis Farms, and Cuffel Farms and got terrific plants from all of them. When I called RFI, the person on the phone seemed like a salesperson who hardly understood anything about the plants they were selling, and I was not able to get anything replaced. |

I have worked in the nursery business for over two decades myself; surely this is either an error or egregrious profiteering? |
