I ordered from them just one packet of seeds and I am glad it was only one. It didn't cost much, 33.63 kuna, they charged my credit card on 25.1.2009. but I never got seeds. I sent them e-mails but nobody replies. Really it was my lesson and I've learned it. This company should be reported and whoever is running it should be in prison for cheating people and stealing their money.

Despite all the comments on your site, this website is still operative and accepting orders. I placed an order for lots of seeds in March and have heard absolutely nothing since. I've tried phoning twice, but the phone goes straight to voicemail and - of course - no one has replied to my messages. As far as I can tell, my credit card has not been debited for my order - but the infuriating thing is that I've lost a valuable month's sowing time by using this company. Never again - and I'll check your site before trying any other seed suppliers!

My experience was identical to so many other unfortunate victims. I placed my order on July 7, 2009 and have yet to receive it. I also have yet to receive any communication from them whatsoever aside from the one on my bank statement. Through my first 4 emails and phone call, my order was listed on their site as authorized but not yet shipped. Now it is no longer listed as ever having existed at all. The order in question was number 877860. At this point, having no receipt from them and no record of the order on their site, I can't even remember what all I ordered, aside from the Table Daintys; I only remember I was hunting for vining zucchini at the time...

Beware! This company is still at it! Due to my neglect in not checking their rating on the Garden Watchdog, I have also been taken to the tune of $39.47.
I came across this company while doing a search for seeds for Delphinium zalil in November 2009. They had them listed (and still do), so I added a few more items to my order to make the shipping cost worth it. I received an immediate email confirmation and my credit card was charged within a few days.
As we were going into the holiday season and I didn't need the seeds for a few months, I forgot about them. After the first of the year when I realized they had never arrived, I sent an email inquiring as to their shipping schedule, thinking perhaps the seeds would be shipped closer to the appropriate time. When I did not receive a reply, I sent increasingly impatient requests for an immediate reply or full refund. I tried emailing directly through the link on their site, along with several off-site, direct emails. I have never heard anything. and do not have my seeds or a refund as of January 29, 2010.
This company still seems to be in operation and is touting their 13 year history. The site has been updated for 2010, so they are still around, apparently still stealing from unsuspecting gardeners, worldwide.

On January 30th, 2010, Chocolatemoose added the following:

Edited: I allowed for the possibility the seeds may have been confiscated by authorities since this was an international transaction. Going into the "My Account" section of their site shows the completion of my payment to them in November, along with status still showing "Not Shipped".

I ordered seed on 7 October 2008 and received confirmation by return. However seeds had not arrived so I phoned them, and got an answering machine, left messages, but received no response and e-mails went unanswered.

On 13 December I received an e-mail saying that seeds had been shipped. Nothing arrived and all contacts were ignored so on the 9 January 2009 I wrote advising them that I was contacting the Oxfordshire Trading Standards Office.

Lo and behold the seeds arrived on 22 January 2009.

The order was small and included seeds from Suttons Seeds and Lilly Miller seeds. These packets had no "Sow by" or "Packed for Season" dates on them and as all seeds failed to germinate I strongly suspect that they were out of date.

I have contacted the seed companies concerned and advised them that I thought that their good name was being compromised by eseeds. I also requested an explanation as to how their products got onto the marketplace without this information on them.

The concept of eseeds looks great- so many companies seeds available on one web site, but beware
ALL THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD.

I will post further information when I get a response from the seed companies.

Ordered from here last year without any problems, this year placed a larger order, the company took the payment and never sent the product. No communication from the company, therefore I dug deeper (no gardening pun intended) If you check companies house the company is classed as Dissolved 30/04/2008. Therefore there was no chance of getting any refund even though they took the payment despite being classified as non-trading. My advice is to avoid this company and research before committing to purchase. I have found other online seed companies this year who have been outstanding in both the quality of the seeds and the standard communication.

I contacted my credit card company and had the small amount refunded to me.
One month later, ie 18th February 2009 the seeds arrived. Now I suppose I should pay for them. But I wouldn't use this company again.

Would NOT recommend. I placed an order with eseeds in August 07. Some time later, when I had not received seeds, I sent a follow up email to the company inquiring about the order. No response. I sent several emails over the course of several weeks. No one bothered to respond to me.....ever.

Now for the funny part. Sep 28 08 this year, I get an email from one of their representatives who noticed that my order had not be filled and was wondering if I was still interested (over a year later). I emailed back same day telling them that I definitely was NOT interested and explained that I had sent several follow up emails to their company almost a year ago and no one ever bothered to respond to me. Needless to say, I never heard back from this representative again....no apology for the mixup, no nothing. Must be their normal fashion for doing business, otherwise any good rep would have at the very least, passed along their apologies on behalf of their company.

I would steer clear of this company.

What a shame! I have been ordering via internet for years and have never come accross such a bad company. My experience is very similar to other negatives. They 'seem to sell' some seeds that are difficult to get hold of and I've ordered one of them. They have sent me an envelope with an invoice but no seeds enclosed! Have emailed countless times, left messages, but they could not care less. Fortunatelly it was a very small order and I have learned a lesson not to use them again. I think they are getting away with this unacceptable behaviour just because orders are small otherwise I think trading standards agency would be very interested. My advice is if you are not prepared to wait for your seeds for months or risk not receiving your order all together stay away from this terrible company!

On 21st January 08 I ordered £24 worth of seeds from eseeds a company I have never used before. A month later on 20th February they emailed to say that the seeds had been dispatched by first class post. The seeds did not arrive so a week later I contacted eseeds via their website. On that day eseeds took payment from my credit card but made no other response. I therefore contacted eseeds again by email on 27th February. This time I got a reply confirming they had taken payment and asking me to contact them again if I did not get the seeds by Friday. They promised to then dispatch the order. On Friday 29th I contacted eseeds as instructed to say that my order had still not arrived. Since then, despite several emails to them, eseeds have not even had the courtesy to respond. Ringing them on the number shown on their website is no good as it is permanently attached to a voicemail. Leaving messages on this does not even get the courtesy of an acknowledgement. I have been purchasing seeds by mail order and the internet for years and this is the first time I have ever had such a terrible service. I shall of course continue to pursue eseeds for either the goods or a refund but it would be interesting to know how many other people have had money taken by eseeds and no goods supplied.

I was amazed to find though that the prices eSeeds charged for some of the seeds have a much lower price on the backs of the packets. Verbena Crown Jewels for example shows £2.49 but they charged me £3.81. In total I have been overcharged on 5 packets, a total of £2.87.

I emailed them just over a month ago when I received the seeds, but I haven't had a reply. I certainly will not buy from them again.

STEER CLEAR!!!
I was ectastic to find a company that could provide me with many of the obsure varieties of seeds I was looking for to start my cutting garden business. I figured it would be worth the extra money I would pay to order all my seeds from them, not have to go to all the different stores to find even the common seeds. So giddily, I placed my order. Then, nothing. Weeks went by. I emailed them four times, no response. I ended up calling them in England, and the person who answered just said "hello", not "eseeds" or anything. She was very apologetic, and said there was an article in a UK paper recently mentioning the company and that they were swamped with new business. I told her it didn't matter to me, there was no way for me to know what the issue was with my order; I could see the charge came through on my credit card, and I was very annoyed that they did not respond to my efforts to contact them and ask them about my order. She even said she'd send me an email outlining discounts available to members of their website. She never sent it.
You know, I ordered 114 seed packets; not a small order. It took a month, and they finally arrived, with 3 "freebees" and minus one item I ordered. I emailed them again, telling them they shorted me the one item, and of course, they haven't responded and I don't expect they will. For me, I will use their website for information as to what seed companies sell what seed, and then I'll go about procuring the seed another way. I will not do business with them again just because their communication is pathetic, and they don't seem to care one way or the other.
I sure wish I would have checked davesgarden first; I could have saved myself all this hassle. My advice about eSeeds? Avoid them. They're a pain in the butt, and when you want your seeds and want to get your gardening started, you don't want to be all stressed out wondering where your order is. This company is the pitts.

On June 12th, 2006, chickensrus added the following:

I have never recieved any reply from the company, and now I have this to add: None of the onions or the beets germinated. I rechecked the packets, and guess what I found? They had changed a "sow by" date from 2003 to 2008 with a pen!!! I didn't catch it before I sowed them, and today was flumuxed so I investigated. I have emailed every seed company to tell them of this sham. I'm furious, way behind on the onions & beets, and out the money.

I placed a small, 5 packet order with eSeeds on January 2, 2006. They acknowledged it promptly and provided frequent updates as the order proceeded through filling and shipping. On January 9, an envelope arrived from the UK with my order, plus a packet of bonus seeds. The entire transaction couldn't have been more smooth. eSeeds offers a wide assortment of often hard to find seeds with a single shipping charge. I like ordering from one source that carries several brands of premium seeds. I'm looking forward to placing a larger order with them next year.

On December 5th, 2008, arnoldini added the following:

Another order, placed in November 2008, arrived promptly. It was for only 3 packets and 2 of the items were especially difficult to locate so I was happy to find a source at eSeeds. However, one of the packets had an expired "use by" date. When I contacted eSeeds they replied the next day with an apology and a promise to send a fresh packet of replacement seeds. You cannot ask for better resolution to a problem than that.
On April 4th, 2009, arnoldini changed the rating from positive to negative and added the following:

It has been 4 months and I have not received the promised replacement packet for the out-of-date seeds. Their first email response was so timely and cordial that it prompted me to write my favorable comment on December 5th. . I have since sent two additional emails reminding them that the packet wasn't received and there has been no response. I hate to lose this seed source because their offerings are so unique but I now feel there is something wrong with this company.

Gunadasa-Rohling began cultivating gardening related Web sites in 1995. Today, they have suppliers around the world and their customers can view 1000's of plant species before placing an order. eSeeds is an IBM e-business." However, I ordered 2 packages of Cambridge Lady Lavender, instead they sent me Lady Lavender. I sent emails about this matter, hoping to get a replacement and did not get any reply as of today. The fact is I have plenty of Lady Lavender already, I ordered Cambridge Lady Lavender because that's the variety I wanted to try. Without asking my permission and send replacement like that is not acceptable. However, that's not the worst part of this whole online shopping experience with eseeds. The worst part is they still owe me 3 packs of Nora Barlow. It's good to know that some other members got their seeds. Send many emails to eseeds, and all I got was the automatic email received notice, never once did they contact me or send me any emails about the unsolved matters. Out of the original 16 packs I ordered, I only got 10 packs correct. As of today 2003-06-27, I still am waiting for my seeds or my money back. Not try to be harsh or anything, but it's been 5 months.
