Comments regarding Evergreen Y.H. Enterprises

I garden for hobby and ordered from a lot of different internet seed companies; I agree with other reviews in how time-sensitive seeds from this company often do not germinate. Other than that, however, I appreciate their much lower price than the other more famous Asian seed company. I've not had any communication with them returned either, etc. But the prices and selection for hard to find seeds is hard to resist for me and I would still order some things from them.

The seeds that have failed for me to germinate are Perilla, Saltwort, and Redbeard Green onion. All of these seeds are time-sensitive and none of them sprouted even 1 sprout for me this year. Also, Perilla Saltwort I ordered from them 4-5 years ago in the past before and equally performed badly at that time also. I wouldn't order time-sensitive or very very unusual seeds from them. BUT having said that prices are good and selection is good, and delivery has been reliable and fast, and sprouting of all other seeds from them for me have been excellent which includes, Shungiku, Radish, Lettuce, Momotaro tom, Sungold, and many others I forget. Out of 5 stars I would give them a solid 3 stars. Both bad and good.

I ordered about $20 orth of seeds for Fall crop. The responded promptly and said they sent the package out. It took a really long time to get it (nearly 2 weeks) for first class mail. Maybe it was the Post office that was slow, couldn't tell because there was no postmark on it.

bought a few varities of bittermelon. they seem to have a great selection. i couldn't find these vareties anywhere else on the net, very ahppy to find it at this site. customer service is very helpful. bought a few seeds, will see what turns out
