AKME Gardens

BUYER BEWARE! Do NOT buy anything from Adam/AKME gardens before you have the product in hand. I pre-paid online (hundreds of dollars) for some multi graft loquat trees, and after badgering him for years, finally received 2/3rds of my order. The trees looked like they had been grafted that day, and half of the grafts either never took, or failed later on. 3 and 1/2 years (& many e-mails) later, I have yet to hear from Adam, and never received that final 1/3rd of my order, nor a replacement/refund for the failed grafts. I suspect I am not his only dissatisfied customer, because Adam has since deleted his account on a popular fruit forum, from which he had regularly sold & advertised to the community.

I spoke with Adam via email and phone and he informed me that he could custom graft plants for me. It was 15 trees and I paid for them. I still have not received any trees after at least two years. He rarely if ever returns calls and always has an excuse. At this point I think I have lost my money. I wouldn’t order from Adam/AKME.

My interest in this nursery was in their extensive list of scions (for grafting) of loquat cultivars. I ordered 1 that I had wanted for some years. They described it as a single 12-inch scion but they sent 3 beautiful scions, all longer than 12 inches. Shipping was quick and the scions came well-packaged. I had a question and they responded rapidly to email. All in all I highly recommend this nursery.
