Scenic Hill Farm Nursery

When I first saw this company, I was cautious because there prices were too good and they had free shipping. I decided to get Scott’s pine, southwestern white pine, and Jeffry pine. I have two things that were questionable, the southwestern white was labeled as (southwestern white/ Mexican white/ western white) those are 3 different species of pine, but it did contain the Latin name strobiformus, so I know what it is. The roots also hat to be worked out significantly as the trunk wend way down in the plug. Other than that I had an amazing experience with the company and would recommend it to anyone. I love the company and will order from them again.

I was in search of a coastal redwood tree to plants in the garden of our new home which we are still building. After searching online I decided to place an order from Scenic Hills Farm Nursery. I was very skeptical about ordering a live tree online. I was skeptical about the condition and which it would arrive and if the size was really as stated online. I decided to take a leap of faith and ordered a Coastal redwood tree that was supposed to be 28" to 36" in height. I was hoping the tree would get here soon so as to avoid potential damage. Much to my surprise and delight, my tree arrived in one day! I received it this morning. I was anxious to open the box hoping not to be disappointed. Quite the contrary, my tree is beautiful! It is just as described, in size and condition. Scenic Hills Farm Nursery exceeded my expectations. They also provided thorough instructions on how to care for your tree based on climate and conditions. I still had a question. I contacted Larry by phone and he was very helpful. I look forward to doing business with these folks again and highly recommend them!

Just received some strawberries and a small conifer from Scenic Hill. All in good shape and well rooted. Most of the strawberries were bigger than expected. The prices were fair and they had the varieties I needed for central California.

Ordered 50 strawberry plants from this company. Asked to have them shipped the first week of May. I live in Minnesota and May is when they can be planted here. I just received an email from them that they have been cancelled. They did not keep them where they needed to be and were moldy. If that is the case with their plants that have to wait until May, I won't be ordering anything from them again. Now Everywhere that carries this variety is sold out for this year. Now I have to wait until next year.
