I have been buying seed from this company for a few years. The last 2 years though the seed has not been what it is supposed to be. The contender beans were not that type, the Celebrese broccoli was not that type, the Floradade again not right type and was a mix of many types, michihili cabbage, not right, black beauty zuchinni not right. The worst of it is they claim to sell heirloom seeds, they are ruining these varieties! They are terrible stewards of heirloom seeds. When i contacted them and asked about the source where they got the seeds and they should contact them and have a serious conversation they refunded my money and left it at that. I will not buy from them again and all seed buyers should be aware they have terrible standards.

Ordered this past winter. Of course they shipped during the Tennessee snow event so package was delayed. Finally received box after weeks of waiting. Had one package of seed out of 6 ordered. Contacted company-we need a picture. Took closer look at box and usps had damaged the box on side and/or stole most of the order, repaired box and then "delivered" it. Neither True Leaf nor USPS intended for me to notice most of order missing. Over $50 of seed. So then True Leaf reships it to me, of course the Orange Rox Sorghum seed I specifically wanted now only 1 bag left so got a refund for the 2nd bag. Took almost 2 months to get seed, and then they don't have adequate stock? I have no idea if the seed I did get in first shipment will grow as the package is not moisture resistant. Very disappointed.

Still waiting for an answer from the company. Where to begin... We are a certified organic 80+ acre farm. We purchased what we thought was 2023 bean seed from True Leaf Mkt, however, there is a germination test of that seed in early Feb. 2022, currently, nothing is coming up. We have the same bean seed from Territorial and the visual is quite striking. You can easily tell the True Leaf seed is old. The same is true for the German Giant Radish seed which is a blank space in our field next to the other 2023 varieties of radish from Harris, Johnny's, Territorial and Fedco. Because we are required to purchase organic seed over conventional whenever possible, we feel that True Leaf is taking advantage of organic growers in this way. Thankfully there are more choices now available, the bulk of our future orders will be with other companies from now on.

This company took over Kitazawa Seeds recently. I'm very disappointed in them. They have the worst customer services. I ordered some Kitazawa seeds and it was supposed to be shipped via USPS First-Class package but was sent via a slow UPS service. When I inquired why, they simply ignored my email. After I received the seeds , I found none of the seed packets have had an expiry date. When I emailed them, again my email was simply ignored. Kitazawa's seeds have been of good quality. I'm afraid the True Leaf Market people might destroy the brand of Kitazawa. I don't recommend this company.

I ordered seeds in bulk last year. I had close to zero germination and this includes California Poppies, the easiest seeds in the world to start. I am not a beginner gardener. When the seeds arrived, the packets had a different company name on them. The entire back of the seed packet was limiting their liability for seeds if they do not germinate, grow etc. Buyer beware.

I found True Leaf Market searching eBay for Better Boy tomato seeds. They had over 30,000 customer reviews, almost 100% positive. It seems they focus on supplying larger quantities, 100 and 1000 seeds, but the price is reasonable and shipping free. Their current eBay item listings are over 3,600 so they are apparently a substantial company. So I took the plunge because I really needed the seeds. I was shocked to find the package in my mailbox TWO days later! That is service. I will be planting some in the next few days and will update if I encounter any disappointments with the quality.
