I used to get their catalog in the mail every year. After a few seasons I couldn't resist their fantastic selection of hard to find plants and placed a large order in February 2016. By June nothing had arrived. I contacted their customer service department. First they assured me that everything had shipped and would arrive shortly, but were unable to provide any tracking number or carrier information. I waited 2 more weeks, nothing arrived so I emailed again (no direct phone # is provided on the website). They returned my call and after a few attempts to b.s. me, they confessed that only part of the order had been processed although my credit card was charged for the entire order. I demanded my money back since by now it was July, well past the planting season for most of the items in my order. They would not refund my money. The customer service rep said they would be reshipping my order and would provide me tracking. They did not. A few weeks later some of the smaller items from my order (seed packets and strawberry plants) arrived, but that was all. After several more emails and phone calls back and forth with their customer service I sent a final message demanding my money back or I would take legal action. They never responded. Two weeks later packages full of dead plants arrived at my house. Out of over a hundred dollars worth of items only 4 strawberry plants were actually alive and two or three bags of what was labeled as "tulip bulbs". The "tulips" were actually day lilies and were obviously bare roots and not bulbs of any kind. I was charged for the products nearly a full growing season before they shipped, they arrived dead, customer service lied about my order status and proceeded to be unhelpful throughout the entire process. I will never ever order from this company again.

For years I got these little plant catalogs from them that looked like a kid had drawn and colored them. About 3 years ago I thought "What the heck, they are dirt cheap" So I ordered garden plants and some of the trees. The 5-in one apple tree was adjusted to a 3-in one by rabbits but that tree is amazing! I put it away from my big orchard to give the Grandkids something they could have for themselves. We had the two coldest winters on record over the last few years and this tree produced more apples than some twenty year old trees. I knew the Blueberry tree wasn't a true blueberry but I have two of them and they are really growing nice and producing blueberry-like fruit that are very sweet and as they advertise the spring blooms are the best in the orchard. The vegetables are what really surprised me. They were as fresh looking as the ones you get at the local nursery. They were packed so well that only a few lost the dirt in shipping. Now in all honesty, some of 'Super growing tomatoes and Zucchini are just a good strain that you can buy at most places but they all did great! The Empress trees did not live but they arrived the same size as the ones from 'Fast Growing Trees' and a fraction of the cost. For the prices they charge and what you get, I recommend them.

I called GardenersCollection four (4) times to place my order . Each time I was put on hold for over 6 min only to have the automated answering voice say that the party I asked for is not available and disconnected my cals. I did not specify any person - my first time with this co and I don't know anyone! On my 4th call, i left a request for a return call. A person named Soroya called me. She sounded cold, unfriendly, couldn't care less, didn't want to be there answering the phone. Half way through giving her my order (over $60), I asked to speak to someone else and she said there isn't anyone else there! I didn't believe that. I am spending my money and i prefer to do that with someone who sounds at least half way friendly! She took my number and said she'll have someone call me. Haven't heard from anyone yet. Other observations: (1) Gardeners Collection's website is screwed up -my best description . . .a large center part of the screen is blank and the info I asked is off to one side and off the screen. It would not accept my entry for quantity of order! Doesn't that mean it won't accept an order? Got nowhere with that. (2) So I clicked on its Customer Service tab 5 times and got nowhere . . . no response at all, (3) they display a number (for item number) but does not indicate that it is the "Item #" and shows them in different ways on different items . . not consistent and confusing. (4) they need to straighten out their act, website, catalog and most of all, their direct contact (and first impression) with the customer. Soroya did not welcome my business; sounded like I interrupted her day! Whether you want to buy from this company or not is up to you. I won't.

Several years ago I found this great site. It said it was 4 Pawlomina Empress Tress for Ten dollars plus shipping and handling. It had this great video about how fast they grow ect. I ordered as many as I could. At the checkout ad just kept popping up to buy other items. Tons of ads. I kept clicking NO Months later I do not get any plants. I realize I have no idea what the name of this company really is. It has an order form ect, but no real information about the. company. So I start emailing them. I get an email back that says, "your credit card was declined and the season is over". Thats it. I read where it is from and its from the Gardners Collection. I had visited their site before in the past. So I go to it. They have the same trees with the same video only the video stops before it gives the price. Its more expensive on that site. So I am a litte confused since that credit card has over 20k on it. I then call my cc company who tells me their is no issue at all. Nothing ever was declined. Available credit is $20,341. So I email the company and they said "season is over cc declined". So A full year goes by and I order again. I order as many trees as I can. I actually use a different card this time as it has better rewards. Once again I click NO to the thousand other offers. GUESS WHAT. I get an email at the end of the season, "CC declined end of season nursery is closed till next year" So now I know this company is running some scam but I dont know what. SO this year I get my mom and my sister to order along with myself. My mom orders just like I do. All the trees she can at the cheap price and no to the thousand other offers. My sister however orders all the trees she can which is 12btw, but she says yes to a few of the other items. Can you guess what happened. My mother gets an email, "Your credit card was declined. Nursery is closed for the season" I get an email, "The credit card was declined, Nursery is closed for the season" MY SISTER gets an email, and done quote me here but it said, " We are unable to fill your entire order as we have ran out of trees. BUT we can send you ........." What can they send her? The over priced other items she said yes to at checkout BUT NO TREES. So I finally figured out what the heck was going on. They make this website offereing a really great deal on these trees and then sell you over priced other crap at the checkout. They never intend to send you any trees ever. Its all a scam to get you to order. Its false advertising. This company should be ashamed of themselves. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. If you see the ad offering the 2 trees for ten dollar plus shipping AND another set for FREE dont do it. It has a great video and a woman talking about how great the trees are. ONLY you never get the trees. They do not exists. I am sure they probably have them. Only they dont send them out from that website. They sell them for much more on the Gardners Collection webiste. A bunch of scam artists is what they are.
