from Quincy, MA I found him on eBay. I was a little skeptical at first, but he does post pictures of the plants for sale although you can't pick them from the the lineup. I've only ordered 1 gallon pots because shipping is so expensive but they are really large and healthy for the pot size. I would recommend buying in the heat of summer due to shipping in the heat and because the top growth is so large, but I have not followed my own advice. I was so happy with my 1 gallon shirazz that I ordered the last 2. Everything arrived bigger and healthier than I expected. The quality rivals most 2 gallons that I find at local nurseries, if I can even find them. Can't wait to order again once I've planted everything. | |

The trees have been of very good quality and of good shape and size. All my purchases were either two or three gallon and the specimens large for their root size. The packing was excellent as was the promptness of shipping. Based on my experience I would recommend Mapletopia with confidence in the buyer's satisfaction. On January 3rd, 2014, directorrod added the following: I have made several more purchases from Ryder Eggleston at Mapletopia in recent weeks. The trees are lovely and it's a pleasure to business with him. He takes great care to make sure you know exactly what you are buying through his multiple detailed photos and excellent written communication. On February 28th, 2014, directorrod added the following: Today I received another shipment of 10 Japanese maple trees from Mapletopia. There were four 5 gallon, one 2 gallon, and five 1 gallon sized trees. These specimens were gorgeous and of superior size and quality, and bargains at the price. My experience in my dealings with Mapletopia has been excellent. On May 16th, 2014, directorrod added the following: I really can't say enough positive things about Mapletopia. Ryder Eggleston delivers the goods at excellent prices. I received 5 boxes of trees from him this morning and all the trees are beautiful and very good sized for the price.
